Reflecting on my journey from Zimbabwe to America, I am reminded of my beginnings in Zimbabwe. Despite the challenges that many Zimbabweans face, my story is one of perseverance and the pursuit of dreams against all odds.
Born and raised in Zimbabwe, my early life was steeped in the rich, diverse culture of our nation. However, it was also notable for the challenging socioeconomic circumstances that instilled in me a sense of resourcefulness and resilience from a young age.
Education was always a beacon of hope for me, despite the financial and logistical challenges of accessing quality education in Zimbabwe. We were devoted to supporting me in my academic endeavors because we thought that education was the key to a better future.
