We recently connected with Thermb2fly and have shared our conversation below.
Thermb2fly, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
It has great impact on my drive and force in my creative process. From a young age I knew music was something I understood and felt in a way. My family had faith in what it is I’d pursue and funny story I have looking back on was when my sister told me you can rap songs but it’ would be best to learn more words and Ace English class. To this day I still grow musically while expanding sounds, genres, words, in a poetic way you’d have to tune in to feel. My drive in my career is to continue to influence and grow my craft.
Thermb2fly, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I began creating songs since a young age growing up which grew and transitioned to where I am today. I’ve toured sold out stops, worked with many highly successful artists, and went on to inspire hundreds of thousands of people through my music. I try to maintain discipline and try not to get distracted from what’s important. It’s easy at times when things are moving 100mph but when things slow down the comfort can sneak in. Overall I always stick to my discipline. I practice my craft daily at times and always make sure I don’t let up or take a break from the challenge of creating that next hit connection that people feel good about. My fans are amazing and always shows love when I put out what’s real authentic yet entertaining. What sets me apart is in my music. You can hear what I’m putting out and you can hear what everyone else copies or put out. The difference is major, everything I create I put my all into no matter the challenges to this day I still grow and study the industry I’m in. I want my supporters to know I’m most proud of the fortitude they’ve showed over all theses years and that I got something special coming up for all my supporters.
What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
Share the music you love and go out to the shows of the artist most genuine to you. Try to make that connection you never know what comes from it.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
Seeing the music or work I do move and positively impact the ones who hear it. Whether it’s their first time or 100th hearing my art. Hearing someone got through a rough time with my work helping them through it from a mental stand point as well overall vibrant reactions to the connection to the words and sounds I bring together in a way very few can.
