Hi Theresa, thanks for joining us today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.

It has been an amazing experience networking with small company artisans to acquire unique designs for my fabrics and zipper pulls. I have always had a passion for custom designs. When the pandemic happened, I had an immense amount of time on my hands and needed to find an outlet to focus my energy on. I started networking with digital designers and started growing my repertoire of eclectic designs to ensure I had unique items available in my store.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

At Coelho Zippers and Pulls we have an eclectic repertoire of custom merchandise acquired with the unique in mind.

We started in 2019 in order to have a unique variety of accessories for sewing bags and accessories for our other company Domino Trendz.

At Coelho Zippers and Pulls we specialize in custom fabrics, custom zipper tapes and custom zipper pulls. We have a wide variety of fabric bases to choose from as well.

Networking with other small businesses we have amassed a wide variety of custom accessories to make crafting bags and accessories that much more unique

I am a 50 year old mother, wife, and seamstress who is disabled and also the care taker for my autistic child. I am proud of the art I have amassed and the unique products I have to offer.

This business is a dream come true and an amazingly fun experience. We also provide custom printing for those who have files they would like printed.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

Creating and finding unique prints is extremely rewarding. It allows me to express my passions and find designs and patterns unlike any others. The most rewarding aspect is providing quality products and designs to my customers and getting positive feedback.

How did you build your audience on social media?

I have networked with existing companies and have continually advertised my product. In sharing within wheres what groups and providing raffle items to other businesses I have been able to grow my audience and customer base.
