Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Thee Vibe Creator. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Thee Vibe , appreciate you joining us today. I’m sure there have been days where the challenges of being an artist or creative force you to think about what it would be like to just have a regular job. When’s the last time you felt that way? Did you have any insights from the experience?
I am 100% happy being a professional DJ, I have often times wondered what it would be like to have a regular 9-5 and I have tried it but I learned very quickly that I am not good at working for other people it never served me any real joy but when I am able to DJ and having control over the energy in the room I feel like I am truly in my calling

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am a 100% hustler, I started off watching DJ Coco Chanel and from there I knew that the energy that a DJ has sets the vibe in the entire room from the music to the words that come out of my mouth. I am the definition of an open-format DJ meaning I can play anything from Mainstream to Hip-Hop, RNB, Country, etc. Being a female DJ sets me apart from others because there is always a bigger scope that is placed on me because it’s more of a male-dominated industry. I am most proud of being able to connect with so many diverse DJS from all over the world and creating my own lane on TikTok with over 19.7K organic followers including followers from overseas as well

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I started off by creating my own brand by making short 45-second to 1-minute clips of me DJ’n whether it was in my house, the car, or at an event for someone who is looking to grow on social media I would first say be yourself, and keep going because the people will come and the numbers will grow as you keep setting your own trend

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
I would say marketing and advertising. In this industry, it’s hard to market yourself when you have no idea where to start. Thankfully I was able to learn as I grew in my career that social media, and word of mouth can truly take you a long way
