We were lucky to catch up with Thea Vaporis recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Thea thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
. I come from a long line of creative people and a group in a very creative household. Both of my parents are artists. As a small child that was fostered and nurtured. My dad worked as a photographer and I got to be alongside him on some very cool projects that included working for Ralph Lauren, as well as couture projects featuring Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, and Christian Lacriox.
I grew up attaching art classes, and dancing, and even was able to model as a little girl and a teenager

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
From about the age of 18 till now, I have worked as a model and a make up artist. For me, the two have always gone hand-in-hand. Being on set either in front of the camera or helping behind the scenes, you really have to understand the inner workings of fashion, color theory and lighting.
My passion for clean and low toxin beauty products started when I was in school school to become an aesthetician and make up artist. I developed an auto immune disorder and quickly realize that if I wanted to continue to work in front of the camera, I had to do my own research and find Makeup and beauty products that we’re going to be suitable for this life change.
My passion is to create content that is centered around clean beauty and fashion. I think it’s so important for women and especially moms to feel good about what they’re putting on their face and their skin.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My goal is really to be a beauty Bestie. I want my social media and my blog to be a safe space for women who are looking for better for skin care and Makeup. I also died into products. I use around the home and I use as a mom. We are so isolated as a community. I love that blogs and social media are a place where women can come together and exchange their knowledge. The last pillar of content, I’m really passionate about my body post baby. As a model, I feel that I have a right to show other women that you could be comfortable fashionable and embrace the changes that your body has gone through postpartum.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
I love when people will direct message me and ask for a personal recommendation for a skin care or beauty product or maybe even a type or brand of clothing that they are searching for. I always make it my mission to find them the perfect beauty routine or fashionable item. It’s all about community
