We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Thea Klincov a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Thea, appreciate you joining us today. Can you tell us the backstory behind how you came up with the idea?
MHouseMedia’s story began with a group of creative volunteers from the Mohanji Foundation, who over the years, volunteered in various areas, including photography, graphic design, video editing, and media production. One day, our founder, Mohanji, suggested that we join forces and offer our combined skills as a service.
That is how MHouseMedia was born five years ago.
I deeply knew this venture would succeed because, in these turbulent times, this is what the world needs. More than sitting idle and talking philosophies about what the politicians should do, or what the world should be like, what we need is ACTION.
“ACT more, talk less” is one of our mottos and in that sense, we are dedicated to leading by example and giving back to the world through purposeful media, which, in this digital era, is a potent tool.
Whether media is used for destructive purposes or positive transformation is a choice, and we unequivocally choose the latter.
Today, as the CEO and leader of MHouseMedia, I am very proud to see our company’s growth. Through our work, we’ve managed to touch the hearts of people across the globe, extend a helping hand to those in need, bring more visibility to ethical brands, and bring smiles to countless faces. It’s a journey that continues to inspire us each day.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m Thea, the CEO and Owner of MHouseMedia.
My journey in the world of media and creative services has been really thrilling so far, and deeply connects two of my passions: creativity and making a positive difference in the world.
I’m a creative enthusiast, a storyteller and a firm believer in the power of media to transform lives. I have a diverse background. Born in Serbia, raised in Belgium, and having lived and travelled in several countries, I’ve been very lucky to be inspired from many different cultures and experiences.
I studied photography and arts in secondary school in Belgium, got a bachelor’s degree in French literature and translation in Serbia, and also did some film studies.
My true calling became clear when I started volunteering as a photographer and video editor for the Mohanji Foundation in 2018. It opened my eyes on the impact one can have through media.
Since 2021, I am the Official Photographer for Mohanji, and through that role, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to travel the world, documenting not only Mohanji’s life but also covering various programs and media needs for the Mohanji Foundation, but also for our various humanitarian and ethical projects worldwide (Ammucare, ACT Foundation, the Fruit Tree Plantation Drive, and much more). Needless to say that it has been a journey filled with priceless experiences and unforgettable moments. Spending time in close quarters with a personality such as Mohanji brings so much wisdom and deep personal transformation, for which I am forever grateful.
Several years ago, as mentioned in the previous question, Mohanji suggested to our group of creative volunteers to join hands and provide our services in the world. This is how, what we know today as MHouseMedia, was born.
The vision behind MHouseMedia is simple: to be a leader in the creation of purposeful media that elevates the human spirit and makes a positive impact on the world. We also serve as a platform for creative individuals from across the globe to to pursue their passion, while supporting ethical, sustainable causes.
As a media production agency, we provide a broad range of services, including video editing, web content creation, graphic design, advertising, short films, and documentaries. However, the common thread connecting all our work, and what sets us apart, is our commitment to ethical causes, sustainability, and adding value to the world in a way or the other.
Our team is made of individuals with year-long experience in volunteering with NGOs, who all have in common that they want the world to be a better place.
In that context, we work extensively with NGOs, individuals dedicated to humanitarian efforts, ethical and sustainable brands, and we simply LOVE providing our services of content creation, storytelling, branding, and more, to people who want to make a change.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Adding Value to the World.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The best way we’ve found new clients is through our partnerships with platforms and brands linked to the Mohanji Foundation. This includes organizations like ACT Foundation, Ammucare, Somarka, and others. When our clients, who also have their own wide-reaching brands, are happy with our work, it leads to more people noticing us and wanting our services. This network effect a great way for us to connect with new clients.
