The Sewing Club, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?

We all grew up playing music in church, middle school bands, or wherever available. I think learning how to push through mistakes is one of the most important things and staying curious about the craft!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

We’re a rock band currently touring basically the entire US with Arlie and Whitehall! We started in nashville TN and have been stoked to be able to play for so many people in places we’ve never been to before. We’re also super proud to be playing our first SXSW right after this 26 date tour run.

We have a song called “On My Own” coming out on March 2nd that we recorded with our producer and friend, Jared Corder of *Repeat Repeat, at polychrome ranch.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

Continue to support artists on the road by coming to shows, buying merch, and posting about them online! We can only do this because of people and fans!
