We recently connected with The International Reem Supreme Show and have shared our conversation below.
The International Reem Supreme Show, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Are you happy as a creative professional? Do you sometimes wonder what it would be like to work for someone else?
Kareem Shon: When I’m being creative, I’m in my happy place. I believe that I’m exercising my God given talent with complete focus. With technology we can explore and push limits. The best part is, if it doesn’t work, I can always start fresh and go in a different direction.
My last regular job gave me some creative control, but not where or when it really mattered. I felt like my hands were tied and I was just part of the process and not part of the creation of my client’s advertising campaigns.
At True Digital Marketing, not only am I hands on with my clients, but I help them creatively through each part of their marketing/advertising campaigns and website design. For me that’s a huge step in the right direction of my career.
Creating our podcast the International Reem Supreme Show , just gave me another level of creativity to explore. I’ve found it to be fun, therapeutic, and a positive way to give back to the culture of Hip-Hop.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Big Scoob: One day my brother was talking to me about doing the Podcast and he ask me If I would be interested in doing it I told him yes most definitely
We are a hip hop Podcast For hip hop heads And we talk about a lot of current events but mostly what’s going on in hip hop What people don’t know about or where artists or new music that’s out.
What set me apart from others: My personality I’m the one that will come up with crazy stories I’ll talk about the most strangest things and I always have jokes.
I’m most proud of that I’m getting better at hosting a podcast with my brothers International reem supreme Podcast To me is one of the best up-and-coming Podcast around we make sure to give our fans what they want and what they want to hear. Every time you watch a Podcast that’s the real us no scripts You’re gonna get One million percent of our energy and the best podcast.
Taraja:
This here was really done because my Brother Kareem.Shon was apart of another podcast and he was doing that then he was having an issue with that and that didn’t go so he hit with the idea and him being my brother and just havin belief in his vision I was automatically with it .We do a HipHop Podcast we talk about what’s going on in HipHop what new projects are coming out world issues and we just talk about life in general as well as release behind the scenes footage with stuff that goeson all the convos and stories that we share with one another and just give you a look at what goes on before we do the podcast. We different out here because we us 3 brothers who love HipHop and love talking about it as well as turning you on to HipHop you may not have heard before ,with the 3 of we got everything you can catch our lives on IG where we just jumping and the convo can go anywhere justije the behind the scenes footage as well and that what it is we raw and open with this its us no make up no trendy outfits no ego just INTERNATIONALSUPREMETEAM #IST Iam very proud of where are I mean because I mean nobody could rock with I mean look I feel like ppl. gonna deal with the real deal with the concrete you know no shots at anybody but I mean if we gonna talk hiphop let’s talk HipHop and that’s what we do and represent in the words of my Brother if you looking for the skinny jeans and all that this ain’t the podcast for you this is real HipHop. I am very proud of the ones that follow comment share like watch our episode all of that because like I said previously nobody could rock with it but these those that do and those that love HipHop the way we do and really that’s what keeps us pushing and putting it out there , there’s so many MCs out there that’s just putting out constant heat and we just doing our part to let that be know.
Kareem Shon:
I always felt like I had something to prove and a mission. When I started my first podcast, I wanted to prove that boom bap hip hop was alive and well. My mission was to prove that Houston is a dope @ss city.
Today our mission is to stay consistent with producing relevant content for our audience. What we want to prove is there’s a Hip Hop platform that strives to bring balance to Hip Hop media outlets. There’s so much gossip and negativity that get put out there. We want to be different and go the other way.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Kareem Shon: My personal social media platforms show different sides of me, my life, and my business. The common thread you’ll find is I share my journey into each new level I achieve. There’s tricks to each platform, but for the most part, you want to be consistent and keep your goals in mind. Overall, the more video content you can produce and share will help you to reach a wide range of people and has high engagement. Today, I use my platforms to bring awareness of the services provided by True Digital Marketing and also to grow our International Reem Supreme Show podcast audience. Twitter, YouTube and our website has helped us to maintain and grow.
Taraja:
We built our audience really it was really about the promotion of it constantly like I always say putting it in your face and you either gonna love or ignore it I don’t wanna say hate it because we might pop up on your page on one if these media outlets and you might hear something you like and then boom you listening you watching you commiting sharing you know it’s not then somebody you know us checking your page out and see us and hear something or see something the might wanna check out and get curious and then tap and they tell whoever but we just putting it out there we that podcast you looking for and if you get an idea and wanna do a podcast do it, promote your stuff as much as you can . Algorrhymes and all that don’t worry about it do your promoting don’t worry about well this person isn’t tapped I this person ain’t tapped in or supporting xyz because I look at it like this eventually they will just focus on who is and who really showing you love
Big Scoob:
I built my social media following off Instagram Facebook and now Twitter but Instagram is why I get my most following Once you stop posting your brain on Instagram Facebook Twitter or any major platform you will start getting a following But make sure you keep up with your fans and keep them up-to-date .
Can you share your view on NFTs? (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
Big Scoob: The wave of the future it is where art is going and where art is at .
Taraja:
NFTS are the future of art what else us here to really say this is where art is headed is at,not only to cleche or anything but let’s not pretend that the Bitcoin revolution isn’t real and that NFts aren’t out here selling we have various celebreties in the market buying land in the metaverse and creating their own NFTS aswell as certain sports team involved It’s definitely something needs to researched on, I myself own a few I dabble a little with the NFT space still learning everyday but the future of Art is NFTs
Kareem Shon:
NFTs (in my opinion) helped to solidify that crypto currency and block chain technology not only has a place, but it’s becoming the way. It also helped to bring forth the discussion of Web3 and how businesses are growing right under our noses. It’s a lot to explore and get familiar with.
