Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to The Bitcoin Fairy . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, The Bitcoin thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I’ve always been around the arts, whether it was a school recital, learning to play an instrument, singing, and dancing. It was simply inevitable!
When I was six years old my late grandmother asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up as I pressed my toy stethoscope against my singing Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez doll while the “No scrubs” song played back into my ears, I simply replied “a doctor and a singer.”
Many years passed and I did enter the medical field because I love helping people but music always called me back, I put my heart into dancing, singing, rapping and acting. To this day, I’m overjoyed knowing that there’s people who look up to me just from by being myself.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
People always wonder why I call myself “The Bitcoin Fairy.” It’s really quite simple, back in 2016 i became involved in the cryptocurrency and learned a lot about the space. So I started teaching people about it by showing them how to invest in their first few Satoshis or smaller units of Bitcoin. In exchange for this task, I asked for a small fee or to use my affiliate link to sign up for a new exchange account. I thought the name was cute so I just kept it as my artist and stage name.
I have quite a few songs in the works but one in particular is called “Run It!” It’s an energetic and upbeat trap type song that’s guaranteed to get anyone off their feet and moving. I can’t wait to release it.
I think what sets me apart is that I absolutely love technology and fashion. I even find ways to merge the two by wearing digital clothes, it may sound silly but I think it’s a legit way to help save the planet.
I am also always trying to learn new things, which is how I got into exploring blockchain technology. Right now I’m exploring the metaverse and having fun doing so!
We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
NFTs are dope! I’ve heard stories where artists make a lot of money by doing something they love—making art!
The space is still relatively new so there’s issues that we still need to work on but i like the concept, I’d like to see it develop into something sustainable.
What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
If you really want to support an artist and you’re genuinely a fan, stream their music! Buy their merch or share one of their posts.
It really difficult for an artist especially if they are independent and do everything themselves.
