Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Thaddeus Sharikov. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Thaddeus, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
Thank you for the opportunity. I was blessed with amazing parents. One important lesson they taught me is that all humans matter.
Thaddeus, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My journey in the field of chiropractic began when chiropractic care changed a family member’s life. I saw a person go from suffering from debilitating migraines, to going migraine-free! All without the use of drugs or surgery! This got me curious about the profession and eventually I completed my doctorate of chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2016. Since then, I have been dedicated to staying up on the latest and greatest that chiropractic has to offer.
My expertise in diagnostic studies, including MRIs and X-rays, allows me to handle complex cases involving herniated discs, extensive degeneration, and conditions that require careful attention to neurological compromise. I have a particular focus on treating patients who have experienced traumatic injuries resulting from motor vehicle collisions and work accidents.
In an ever-changing world, I am committed to staying at the forefront of chiropractic care by leveraging the most effective tools and applications for the benefit of the Twin Cities community. My patient-centric approach places a high priority on providing empowering tips and education to help individuals take an active role in their own health and well-being.
Outside of my chiropractic practice, my wife Julie and I lead busy lives, cherishing moments with our young children, Josephine and Simone. We enjoy exploring the Minnesota trails together, relishing the beauty of nature and the outdoors. Additionally, my family is actively involved in a non-profit organization, where we serve and support others in need around the world.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
One thing I love about Minnesota is its vibrant and diverse communities where individuals from all walks of life call this great state home.
In 1991, I was born in Russia during a time of political change. Little did I know that my birthplace would become a symbol of strife and division. In 1992, my family made a courageous decision to immigrate, seeking refuge from religious persecution. Finding solace and a welcoming community in Minnesota, we held onto our love for the Slavic community and its rich culture.
As I grew older, my parents involved me in mission trips to different parts of the world, eventually leading to the establishment of Sharikov Ministries. These transformative experiences allowed me to witness the richness and uniqueness of various cultures while delivering humanitarian aid and spreading a message of hope. These journeys strengthened my commitment to following the example set by Jesus, who taught us that giving is more blessed than receiving.
Today, as we witness ongoing crises and conflicts in Ukraine, I am acutely aware of the urgent need for healthcare services within the Slavic community. Language barriers often prevent individuals from accessing the care they desperately require. With a heart full of compassion, I am dedicated to bridging this gap and ensuring that those in need receive necessary care in a language they understand. Additionally, in a world where the number of refugees and displaced individuals continues to rise, I am steadfast in my belief that everyone deserves a chance at a better life. Drawing from my own experiences as an immigrant, I embrace those seeking refuge and am determined to offer them the same warmth, freedom, and democracy I found upon arriving in Minnesota.
My journey, from being born in Russia to becoming a member of the Minnesota community, exemplifies the power of compassion and unity. Regardless of our backgrounds, we all have the capacity to make a profound impact by reaching out to others with open hearts and welcoming arms.
Minnesota takes pride in its commitment to diversity and inclusivity. Through individuals like us, who embody these values and actively work towards creating a more compassionate society, we can continue to build a stronger and more united community.
If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
This is my dream profession. I’ve always been passionate about health and being able to help people without the use of drugs or surgery is the icing on the cake!
