Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to TG The Mogul. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
TG The Mogul, appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
The most meaningful project I’ve worked on was on the recent fashion show with Tim Johnson Productions on the Pink Holiday Fashion Frenzy Fashion Show and Benefit. This project was one that celebrated those that have triumphed over breast cancer. With my bonus dad passing from Lymphoma Cancer, cancer has a really soft place in my life and this project meant so much. Going into the casting call with models all I knew was that I wanted to be a part of this doing photography or media coverage. After having a conversation with Tim and showing him exactly what I do and my work, he decided he wanted to bring me on as his PR and graphic designer. This was so meaningful to me, because I was able to be involved with a huge production where I could truly showcase my talent completely.
TG The Mogul, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
As TG The Mogul I help clients scale their brand visually with my unmatched creative impact through design, I have been a brand designer for 10+ years and I started as just your flyer girl and have now helped brands from Autumn Joi Live, Charity Luvs, Dutchess of Ink, Courtney Ajinca, Tim Johnson, and many more. As a brand manger I offer event graphics for full productions, brand management for cohesive branding, and creative direction for photoshoots and creative projects. I am most proud of how my brand awareness has grown to help some of the top influencers truly scale with their brands and be seen by their audience how it needs to for them to show as the brand they are.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
One of the biggest things that has helped me build the reputation of my brand in my market is being personable with clientele and also allowing myself to grow with my friends who supported me. One of the principle things I’ve built my brand on is networking across to network up. When I say that I mean helping my close friends who then refer me and from there, we both climb the latter and can build our brands reputation together.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Yes, knowing that this gift of creativity that I have is part of my purpose is what drives my journey. I knew early on that being a designer was part of the gift that God gave me and that alone is what pushes me to continue is knowing that I cannot give up on what God put me here to do.
