We were lucky to catch up with Tez& Majia recently and have shared our conversation below.
Tez&, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
We started content creation in Japan to document our life with a newborn and all the traveling we had been doing. What started as a personal project turned into a passion as we’ve progressed.Consistency was key, but hard to maintain with our jobs and child. If we could go back, we’d prioritize a posting schedule and connect sooner with other creators for advice and support. The most essential skill was patience, not every video will get views. When the time is right everything will happen as it should. Balancing content creation with frequent moves and raising a toddler made consistency difficult. Each relocation disrupted our routine, and finding time to create was a challenge. But those experiences taught us resilience, and now that we’re settled, we’re focused on growing steadily.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
We are Tez&Majia! We create youtube vlogs, tik toks, instagram & many other platforms. We have been together for 7 years and have been married for two years. In japan where we met we also got married and had a beautiful baby girl! Now we have recently relocated to California where we are continuing pursing our content creator dreams.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect would be getting support from family and friends. Although every video may not be a hit and your followers aren’t as supportive as the last video, you can always rely on your loved ones to support no matter what. Another aspect would be being able to have experience recorded to show our daughter when she’s older, seeing all the places we’ve been too and unimaginable experiences!

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Resources i wish i knew about earlier was brand deal apps that really pushed our creativeness. Finding creator groups can also big a huge help, having like minded people around can be really helpful. Most of the time you’ll just have to deep dive into a platform and study other creators to learn bit by bit. It’s pretty great being able to see our growth through our own content !
