We recently connected with Terry Burrell and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Terry , thanks for joining us today. Parents play a huge role in our development as youngsters and sometimes that impact follows us into adulthood and into our lives and careers. Looking back, what’s something you think you parents did right?
Best lesson, taught by parents is don’t be afraid to lead by example.

Terry , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
An specific peer gave myself and my wife and opportunity to be co-owners of a barbershop. Because of that opportunity, my wife and I wanted to build our on business and build it through our on vision. We created K4 management. We instituted some of the core values of what the military taught me service before self and excellence in all we do. With the ups and downs if business, we learned to never be afraid to fail.
Has your business ever had a near-death moment? Would you mind sharing the story?
We got our 1st contract, being totally ignorant to how a business works. Well its time to do payroll we don’t have enough to cover it. After long nights of researching we found a payroll funding company. From that incident we realize we need capital/funding to cover payroll and any business cost that may arise.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
In the current industry we leaned that you have to build a business that a client can depend on. Failure comes with business ownership, however you have to risk mitigation built into your business that will mitigate failures should they arise.
