We recently connected with Terrense Lott and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Terrense thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
Having a voice in this world is rare. I believe that if we can teach others to stand up, hold there ground and speak with love instead of fear; We can become better human beings.
The power of the voice can make or break peoples spirits. To use the voice in a righteous manner can heal one another.
Pursing my music career can allow me to reach my higher callings that i have been given to do from the Father who art in Heaven.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
Being a Vocalist is a passion of mine, something that you do everyday nonchalantly gave me the creative idea to pursue music.
Meaningful music, soulful music that can heal the spirit within us all. Not setting limitations on my craft can allow me to reach out to the ones in need.
A certain sound, vibrations, wordplay can attract someone’s spirit that they can relate to or motivated by.
Im proud of my patience and longevity that I have learned. Creating music isn’t something you should rush, especially if its your Professional career.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Absolutely, our women & children in todays society gave me the passion to lead in a righteous manner; set an example of good deeds to protect our women and children to be guided in the right path.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Of course, before changing my career I wanted to play in the National football league. But there is more to it than just playing football.
I personally didn’t want to put myself in that position physically & mentally especially. A lot of distractions in the game where it takes the fun out of it and not putting my creativity’s into a organization that has a long history of letting people down.
