Teriana, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
When I first came up with the brand name “Natural Built Bodies” it was to inspire more people to build muscle and take care of your body the natural way. I grew my brand from the ground up from there with workout bands, sweaters, hats, then moving on to an entire fitness line with tops, bottoms, sports bras and more! It wasn’t easy and there were many times I struggled and did it all alone sending hundreds of orders to the post office by myself, but I believe that is what makes us stronger, there is no success story without the struggle.
Teriana, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a young fitness entrepreneur who took the risk to work for myself and never looked back since. Through the hard days and all, the low income months and the higher ones, I decided to stay strong to my brand and business.
I have a clothing brand called “Natural Built Bodies” that I started back in 2014 with just hats. I am also a certified NASM personal trainer since 2013 and a social media “influencer/content creator”. A mom of two, and one thing I can say is I have never felt this kind of discipline before but it is a great feeling to never give up, even with the stress and hard days!
How did you build your audience on social media?
Just start. That is the main goal, you never know where social media can take you until you start. The power of social media is crazy and FREE! You can put out whatever content you want and you never know who will see it or where it may take you! So my advice always is just post the content.
