We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Teri Nejad a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Teri thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
I had a client that was struggling with her health, weight loss, lack of energy and she had tried so many routes including conventional medicine and holistic and wasn’t able to conquer her conditions. She did a Pancha Karma at Veda Bar and it reset her system, she was finally able to lose weight, her pallet had changed and didn’t crave sugars and her energy level increased. She finally got a taste of light.
Teri, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
IM AN AYURVEDIC PRACTITIONER, Pilates instructor, wife and mother of two, and a very dedicated healing enthusiasts. I started my Ayurvedic journey in 2010, when I got into a car accident. I ended up seeing a massage therapist that worked at an Ayurvedic clinic. She along with the Ayurvedic Practitioner did treatments that helped me recover from My broken ribs. They also introduced me to Pancha Karma detox, which I partaked in for 40 days. when I was done I felt like I had a new body and mind. I immediately wanted to learn about Ayurveda and went to school shortly after to offer the great wisdom and benefits of Ayurveda!
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
Experience and Awareness.
If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
Yes 100%
