We were lucky to catch up with Teri Lynn recently and have shared our conversation below.

I came to Teri Lynn at a time when everything felt heavy and unclear. I was standing in the wreckage of betrayal, trying to decide if love was still worth fighting for. I had never been in this kind of pain before, and I didn’t want further mishandling—I wanted truth.

I looked for Christian counseling, and somehow, I found her.
She was the first therapist I paid for out of my own pocket. That felt significant. And from the very first call, I knew she was different.

Sitting with her felt like being with a wise friend, or the kind of auntie who sees through you but loves you all the more for it.

There’s something deeply maternal in her presence—soft but strong, warm but clear-eyed. I never felt judged. I never felt

She reminds me of a steady flame. Not loud, but consistent. Tender. She’s lived a full life,
and it shows—not just in the stories she shares, but in the way she listens and holds space. In the way she shows up, even when life is hard for her, too. She amplifies strength, dignity, and grace.

Through her, I’ve remembered my power. I’ve remembered that I am whole, even in a
covenant. That my husband’s choices don’t undo my worth. That I can stand beside someone without losing myself. That I can be soft and strong, both.

She sows seeds—truth-telling seeds that grow slow and deep. And she’s planted more than a few in me.

I don’t know how to thank someone who helps you come home to yourself. But if this is a start, then let it be this:

This path chose me!
I have been in Behavioral Health for over 24 years. I studied at University of Phoenix.
At the time I embarked on single motherhood of 3 daughters.

I was SO intrigued with school and Psychology to that end, I completed with a 3.73 GPA.

I began to dream bigger and bigger. I sought out a passage of Purpose and Service and never waivered. Working with youth, teens and Adults Holistically, feeds my Soul!

Ask Teri Lynn, was founded in 2016 and that’s when I honed in on Relationships & Marriage.

I consider this Quest a Ministry that, speaks ‘Life’ into the following categories “Hello Lovely” for the Single, Women that deisre more for their lives. Then there is “Wife Life” a curriculum designed for Wives, who find themselves challenged by communication, devotion and desire in their Marriage.

Then the most powerful is “Let Me Make You Mine” which is Pre-Marital Counseling, for newly engaged couples.

I offer Spiritual, guidance and instruction of a ‘Marriage Covenant’ to steer your relationship to an anointing that builds an everlasting, foundation.

I am Honored & most proud of designing a work plan that is results, oriented and life-Elevating.

Reflecting on my two-year journey with Miss Teri has been more than I could’ve ever imagined. Since I had never experienced counseling before, I didn’t have a foundation or any expectations going into it. Life had thrown me some incredibly hard moments, and at one point, I couldn’t even afford therapy. That’s why having Miss Teri speak life into both me and my husband-to-be was such a blessing. He fully supports the sessions with Miss Teri and finds them incredibly helpful, not just for me, but for us both.

We began therapy before we got married and have continued afterward, and I truly believe pre-marital, counseling was one of the best decisions we made. Looking back at how far we’ve come brings so much joy and gratitude. With God at the center and the support we’ve received from Miss Teri, we’re building something strong, intentional, and full of love.
