Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Teinamarrie Scuderi. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Teinamarrie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
I am here to ignite joy, presence, and purpose in the lives of others by transforming workplaces—and hearts—through the power of NLP, Gratitude, and Play. Through conscious gratitude practices, transformational language, and the healing magic of play, I help individuals and organizations transmute stress into strength, disconnection into connection, and burnout into brilliance.
My mission is to co-create cultures where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to thrive—not just in what they do, but in who they are. I believe joy is sacred, gratitude is a superpower, and play is the pathway back to our most authentic selves.
I help people and companies thrive by transforming stress and burnout into gratitude, joy, and authentic connection—one grateful moment at a time. I am a guide, a light-bringer, and a bridge—awakening resilience, radiance, and purpose in a world that is ready to remember how good life can truly be.
For me, I truly believe that if we were able to connect with our inner joy and passion we would be happier in life and the world would be a better place. I am here to change the world. In my heart I believe that most people want to live happier lives – however they have gotten stuck in their inner clutter. I truly desire to see everyone happy with harm to none.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I have always known that I was born to change the world. I think part of this is thanks to my Mom. When my brother and I were kids, she would have us donate at least five of our toys that were still in good condition to Toys for Tots. When I was in high school, I volunteered to read books to “at risk” kids. Then I learned about Ryan White who was the hemophiliac who died of AIDS. When I was a freshman at the University of Utah I volunteered for the Campus AIDS Project at the Lowell Bennion Community Center. I thought this was how I was going to change the world, by educating people how not to get infected with HIV. Well, that was my naivety because education alone didn’t work. I did however spend the next 30 plus years involved in the LGBTQ+ community as an Activist and Ally.
I have also always been about play and having fun. So, how to mesh the worlds of each of my passions into one all encompassing place? Though I initially fought it for quite some time, I took all the things I was raised with and practiced throughout my life, combined them with all the things I have learned through the years since and created some new things to further enhance what I do to elevate people all around the world, and finally embraced my position as a Coach.
A tempestuous time in my life allowed for a complete shift to navigate a path through the negativity that was experienced. From that shift, “Grati-Tools” ™ was born. “Grati-Tools” ™, are gratitude tools that my husband and I created together as fun, easy ways to amp up the level of gratitude in our lives and share that knowledge with everyone, everywhere, all around the world.
I am becoming an internationally certified Deep Structure Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Coach with a focused approach on Gratitude and play. I absolutely specialize in teaching people how to use Gratitude and play to reduce stress. I am known as the Gratitude Goddess, Gratitude Dealer or simply the Sparkly One. I am definitely a unicorn, which has always been something that has set me apart from others. My approach to life, day to day difficulties and other challenges is with rose-colored glasses, a glass half full, infinite possibilities where anything and everything is in fact possible.
I am a living embodiment of love, gratitude, play, and sparkle. These aren’t just values I hold — they are the very fabric of my being. Love flows through everything I do, infusing each interaction with presence, compassion, and care. Gratitude is my compass — a sacred lens through which I see possibility, beauty, and connection in every moment.
Play is my magic. It opens the heart, awakens joy, and dissolves stress, creating space for creativity and healing. And sparkle? Sparkle is my soul’s radiance — the bold, magical essence that lights up rooms, lifts spirits, and inspires others to shine in their own unique way.
Through this embodied way of being, I am changing the world — one grateful heart, one playful moment, one soul-aligned spark at a time. I help individuals and organizations reconnect with what matters most, creating ripple effects of joy, presence, and resilience that uplift not only workplaces, but entire lives.
My presence is a reminder that transformation doesn’t have to be heavy — it can be light, radiant, and full of heart. And as I shine, I invite others to remember their own light — because a world filled with love, gratitude, play, and sparkle is not only possible… it’s already happening.
Faith, trust and pixie dust.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I had been focusing on the women empowerment coaching side of my business for awhile. I had been getting clearer and clearer on who I was serving. Then I had an opportunity to go to Canada. I was in a local shop talking with an associate that said to me “Your country’s imploding on itself.”” I responded to her, “You’re Right”. In that moment everything became crystal clear that I needed to change my focus and focus on getting my “Grati-Tools” ™ into the world. I called my husband and said that I am changing gears to focus on my “Grati-Tools” ™ to change the world. I need to reach the masses and create ripples.
After that I have been speaking at various events about my “Grati-Tools” ™ and how to use them to reduce stress. I have been doing more corporate and business trainings on Gratitude in the Workplace.
It has been an unexpected, though exceedingly necessary shift and I am grateful to have been able to see the moment when it arrived and act on it.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
My authenticity and uniqueness. There isn’t anyone else like me in my market or the world. I have been told time and time again that I am, without doubt, a unicorn in a sea of horses. My attitude, my outlook on life and the way I approach things have certainly been valuable keys to my success.
