Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tea Bacon. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, Tea thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?

The most meaning project that I’ve done had to be the time I was given the opportunity to make a concept idea of mine come to life. A very talented photographer, DJ (@djbehindthelenz), helped me with my concept “Choose Your Player.”. The idea of the shoot was 4 people were dressed as characters and they all had their own power and stats. I expressed the idea on my instagram story and he reached out and offered to help! Honestly I couldn’t have done with without him and the 3 other models a part of this shoot — Gabbie, Azariah, and Dre. I was nervous throughout the process because I didn’t know how to pose very well nor did I know how to direct anyone on the visual I had. However, they all were amazing help and the shoot came out perfect!

This specific shoot really made me feel like I was taking a step forward into the modeling career that I want to pursue. I was able to connect with other people and showcase myself and share the same creativity with others of the same interests. I am very grateful everyone’s help. I don’t think I could’ve done it without them. It definitely gave me the confidence and drive to want to do more and work with more models and photographers as well.

Tea, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I am a freelance photographer, content creator, and an aspiring model. I am well know for my hair content and my style of photography. I’m most proud of the progress that I’ve been making and the audience I’ve gained. The 13 year old me would never thought I could go so far. I believe what sets me apart from other people is that I’m not a follower. I stand back from the crowd and take in the environment around me and the choose how to adapt to it or if I want to be apart of it or not. I choose to be myself rather than become a copy and paste version of another and that a lesson that I want my audience always learn and remember, Be yourself! My friends always told me that my sense of humor, intelligence, and my goal driven behavior are traits that makes me unique compared to what they see in others as well. The thing that I am most proud of is never giving up, even when things start to get hard, I always push myself forward because I know in my heart that as long as I don’t give up, my hard work will pay off. The main thing that I want my audience to know is about me is that I’m always looking for more! I love to connect, create, and share each other’s work!

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

There is definitely a specific goal that I want to achieve. I want to become an official signed model, but I would also love to become the next face of Ralph Lauren or Dior. Showcasing their brand and walking their runway is a huge step that I want to take!

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

I feel like what is most rewarding is that someone simply liking my creativity. I don’t expect to gain much. I love that I can “wow” somebody with my talent. My audience’s curiosity and enthusiasm towards my work and ambitions is rewarding enough for me.
