We recently connected with Te Aly and have shared our conversation below.
Te, appreciate you joining us today. Has your work ever been misunderstood or mischaracterized?
I feel like I’ve been misunderstood my whole entire life, I can’t even lie. I used to try and please people just to feel understood or included, but all that did was make me lose touch with myself. It wasn’t until I became self-aware, that I realized that I am not just a star, I am a galaxy. A galaxy is filled up with beautiful components and concepts. Not every single one of them will be understood right away, and that is okay. That is what growth is for, which is why I pray for every single human being on this Earth to channel in their inner galaxy, their inner alien, their true selves. Once you become aware of yourself, and experience the present moment, that is when you truly start living life. I plan to spread this message throughout my musical creations and my journey as a whole. We belong on our own planets!

Te, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hello world, my name is Te Aly (Tee-ah-lee)! I’m the golden child that came from Miami, Florida. I create beautiful music, and design, cut, and sew my own fashion pieces. I am the creator of my clothing line, “SYŃSORED”. I’ve been creating ever since I can remember, to be honest. I never had a TV in my room growing up. So it forced me to get creative. I started learning how to play piano when I was three years old, and that’s when my mom noticed I had a gift. My piano teacher used to scold me because I played by ear and refused to read the sheet music. That habit of mine stayed with me throughout my middle school and high school days, and yes, even now. But it’s also what blessed me with the position of being a band captain and drumline leader in middle school. My teachers could never be too mad at me for passively ‘reading’ the sheet music because I executed the task so well. They had no choice but to compromise with me, even once I moved to Texas. Unfortunately, because of uncontrollable circumstances, I was not happy in band while I was in high school, so I got out of it. Shortly after, I got introduced to FL Studio, a digital workspace where you can create and record music. My friends and I were hooked. During class, we used to record in the mail closet in the choir room any chance we could get. The word got around about us, and eventually an actual recording class was born. I started off as a music producer, but I always knew I wanted to be the one recording on my beats. I was recording and writing everyday. It was inevitable though. I mean, I wrote my first song when I was seven years old. I sung it deeply while playing my little guitar. My mother saw how invested I was into my songs and she gifted me some studio time. That is where my first ever single, “Let It Spray”, was born. I’m grateful for my talents and will inspire the whole entire world with them. Music made me find myself. It forced me to grow in every aspect of my life. Jumpstarting a movement of love, that’s my mission. I feel it within myself, and I know that others will be able to feel that love within themselves too, conciously. Love is truth! Find that, and you will find your way.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
Right off the bat, I would have to say “The Alchemist”. That book reassured me that I was on the right path and that I’m not crazy for thinking the way I do! It is about the journey of a shepard who deeply wanted to travel the world. He met many people along his way. Some who deceived him, others who helped him push forward. He learned what Personal Legends were, and how we are all connected to the Soul of the Universe. His Personal Legend was to find treasure by the Pyramids. In order to get there, he had work at a crystal shop for about a year. He traveled the desert and became one with the Soul of the Universe. He found love, and he found his treasure. When a friend of mine introduced me to this book, I was going through a time where I could feel myself growing into who I am made to be. I was happy because of this, but was also afraid of the unknown. Reading this book let me know that there is nothing to be afraid of. We are not made to tell the future. We are made to be right here, right now. As long as you play your part, your Personal Legend will always reach you! We all have a purpose here on this Earth. It’s assigned to us individually, so take however much time that you need to fulfill that purpose to its full entirety. Trust the process and trust your own unique journey!

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Social media is such a useful tool that even I take for granted sometimes. Connecting with people is a beautiful thing. I started noticing a positive change on my socials once I started interacting with people more. There’s so much talent around the world. Real creators recognize real creators, real people recognize real people. So just be yourself! I’m still working on being consistent with my content, but those wrinkles are about to be ironed out real soon. I can’t wait to get back out there again!
