We were lucky to catch up with Tdo Von-t recently and have shared our conversation below.
TDO, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
It would have to be our trip to Costa Rica to partner, promote, and collaborate with the co-founder of the Animal love rescue center.
They were impressed by my great success regardless of support or adversity, they coordinated with us for me to fly out to Costa Rica to get involved with their movement as it so closely aligns with my own. Believing that all life is important, and all lives deserve love…we decided to team up!
I stayed a week in their hotel, Lands in love Hotel & Resort in which they fed me 3 times a day and gave me access to all their activities, which was Canopy, ATV, Canyoning, Cloud Forest Hike, Adventure Cables, and the Superman Cable Ride!
They are 16 life-long friends, all vegan and animal lovers, who moved to Costa Rica in 2005. In Costa Rica they established a non-profit, no-kill charitable organization, founded on the belief that all animals deserve respectful and loving treatment and must be protected by humans as well as by law!
Whenever they come across animals who are abused, abandoned, sick or injured, they take action to prevent further suffering and give them a safe and loving home. They care for homeless, injured or sick animals and provide the proper medical attention and care and become a part of their family. They do not and have never euthanized an animal for any reason. The animals come from all over the world and live with them for the rest of their life.
At the rescue center, they have over 1600 animals and every animal gets routine personal attention that includes health and nutrition checks, mood observation and constant cleaning of their living areas. Dogs get two daily walks as well as one hour of ‘free time’ in an open area, cats get two hours of ‘free time’. Other animals (geese, horses, hen, goats, sheep, ducks) have a large open area in which to move around.
The experience is something I for one will never forget as it changed my life forever and to experience REAL LOVE outside whatever it is I see in America today. We believe that Americans Make America Great, and as AMAG spreads we have a mission to not just state it but get involved in operations that prove it through everyday actions.
TDO, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Channing Von Taylor better known by Von-T, is an American rapper, DJ, singer, songwriter, and actor. In January 2019, after premiering the music video for his song “Turn Off the Lights”, he became a viral internet sensation accumulating over a million views on World Star Hip-Hop due to his many different styles and his custom helmet.
Von-T was discriminated against in the Army and criminally charged for pursuing his musical dream. Hip-Hop being the genre that was specifically targeted. Von-T has now launched what is known as “Operation Musical Freedom” in the attempt to expose and change the laws that allowed this injustice to happen in the first place. This is a movement to put an end to these kinds of actions from happening to anyone else who serves in our armed forces in the future.
Von-T also goes by the name TDO Von-T “The Hope of the Streets”. In 2024 he dropped “Get Doe”, which solidified his versatilely and proving he really can drop a single in multiple genres separate from each other and they all will still produce massive numbers. In 2023 he dropped one of the hottest EDM tracks that year “Long Time Remix”, In 2022 Von-T has charted twice on Apple Music with his single titled “Lit” placing #23 in Hip-Hop in March and then again in August with his single “Anything 4 U” at #11. He is also trending on Pandora and IHeart Radio as one of the hottest emerging stations with various relevant artists curated on his station.
Because of his wide range of talents, mysterious helmet, and astonishing life story he has been rapidly spreading across the world. He released his first album titled “Music Is” in 2021 with the goal to give hope back to the culture and contribute with his music and brand. He will hopefully create a safe space for creativity without fear of backlash from individuals that seemingly hold administrative power over them within his label he established Symbiotic Music Family (SMF).
So far Von-T has created Rap, Trap, EDM, 80’s “retro” Synthwave, Rock & Roll, Emo Rap, and R&B. “Work at least 12 hours a day 7 days a week with all 8 eyes open and you will never fail KOVU1278”. Von-T is managed by himself and his single titled “Get Doe” in 2024 took his career through the roof. He then aligned his brand with hundreds of notable brands and small businesses to use his social media platforms to promote those companies who align themselves with his vision and fight for justice. This also boosted his presence in the world of social media influences, gaining millions of followers, connecting them back to his music and started a movement called AMAG (Americans Make America Great).
This is because America could never be great again, because what we do as a collective whole is the fabric that already makes America great, and we need a gentle reminder of this in 2025. One that he works with the most is Gamesir. A video game controller company that produces cutting edge controllers for multiple gaming platforms. He was then nominated in 2025 by IHeart Radio as the #1 Hip-Hop emerging artists to watch. He now partners with various organizations across the world to promote positive change and bring awareness to things that may get too often overlooked in the chaos, corruption, and greed happening in America today.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Yes we are determined to push our petition still called “Operation Musical Freedom
This petition is to end discrimination in the United States military by exposing it. After Army CPT Channing Von Taylor – widely known as musical artist TDO Von-T refused to comply with unlawful orders to remove his music videos from social media, he was convicted of violating the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) and deprived of needed medical services. To help him clear his record, and address other abusive behavior in the armed forces, an alliance of game-changers has launched Operation Musical Freedom taking on the baton passed on from LT. James Reese Europe. Europe stood against his superior officers for his right to play jazz music as his artistic expression and was met with much opposition and jazz music deemed classless and distasteful.
100 years later artists like Von-T are met with the same attitude and unjust punishment for playing and or participating in rap, hip hop music, and other forms of musical expression. Racist leaders in our ranks are in hidden pockets in the Army and it is time to drive them out as we have no place for that in American leadership.
Nobody should face criminal charges for merely creating music that a commanding officer or any other leader doesn’t like. We owe our troops the assurance that their rights – including freedom of speech – will be honored.
We call on Congress to pass legislation guaranteeing a safe space in the military for all artistic expression as long as that form of expression does not violate any laws and to enable victims of bullying, harassment, and sexual abuse to speak out without suffering reprisals. We need your signature today as we stand up against discrimination and censorship to protect our service members.
AMAG (Americans Make America Great)
This is movement that TDO Von-T started to offer hope that MAGA is irresponsible phase to use as it does not encompass every American that helped build this great nation. Through everyday actions we make America great! Some of his fans have even called for him to get into politics because AMAG is such a powerful counterstatement to MAGA that it actually brings hope back to the American people.
The feud between Republications and Democrats have left a huge portion of America stuck in the middle. We are not republicans we are not democrats we are hardworking Americans that have had enough of being used on both sides for personal gain and most of real concerns and needs unmet once a certain party occupies the office. There are good things about both parties, but both corrupted in the core of what makes person a good human and a great American.
We all do things that are wrong, and we all make mistakes. Own up to them, be open with your fellow Americans, be kind to your neighbor, treat everyone with the respect and decency they deserve, leave a situation better than you found it, and give more than you take is the core principles in which the creation of AMAG stands on.
We want to restore positivity and prosperity back to the spirit of Americans. We hope to gain endorsements, donations, and traction that will take this movement to the next level and bring respect and decency back to our great nation.

Being able to travel the world and step outside of the “comfort zone” really opened our eyes to the potential for some real good and some much-needed change that can start right here in America. We are and will always be the best nation, we just need to remind Americans who we are first. Americans make America great one action at a time and there’s no debate about that.
