Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tazzie H. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Tazzie, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?

Introducing the Inhale Exhale : The Project was the beginning of my musical career consistently. Pretty much underlining my life story and presences as an artist. Using actual voice-mails of the people who support me and wanted to see me in the space I am today. It means so much to be because it was the beginning of so much to come and I never looked by beyond that point. The hunger and hustle really showed in this project , showing the struggle of growing up without a father and just give my audience me. This project was definitely the most meaningful.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Coming from Chicago, Il born and raised until 15 years old. My father (Fontia Lewis) and Uncle (Johnny Jones) was rappers so the love for music was always there. Being inspired my some of greats like Jay-Z , Lauryn Hill, Jimi Hendrix and Michael Jackson to name a few, I took a leap to beginning performaning and writing raps. I released my debut project Inhale Exhale : The Project in 2018 releasing on SoundCloud then later uploading to all major music platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, Tidel etc. Growing everyday and accomplishing so many milestones it’s hard to pick one that I’m most proud of but recently meeting with rap legend Jadakiss was extremely exciting being he was another great that I looked up to in the industry. The Tazzie H camp strives for greatness in all areas of business providing an exhilarating and thrilling experience, while bring a significant level of professionalism. We want all of our fans and clients to be completely satisfied with our work.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

Sharing the work of local artist and brands on the rise makes a huge impact on getting creative heard and seen. A lot of small businesses and entrepreneurs don’t have a huge budget backing them for advertisements and marketing so sharing work is huge ! Word of mouth is the fasts form of advertising.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

Comparison is the thief of all joy. Comparing your journey with others will have you feeling like you are so behind or maybe even like your aren’t doing enough. I had to learn that my journey was made specifically for me to go though and to own it even on my worst days.
