We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Taylor Treybig a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Taylor, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
As I get older, there is one thing that has become the most important thing that I hope to be remembered which is the way that I treat and love others. My hope through whatever endeavor I do from now on is not about the legacy I leave per say, however, that of which Jesus legacy is shown through my future actions. That my legacy would represent and embody his characteristics ultimately leading them to his legacy. John 13:35

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Before I got into the real estate industry which ultimately got me into the marketing space, I was a manager at Walmart. After taking the leap of faith, working for a top real estate team, as there marketing director, I felt the lord leading me into the path of starting my own marketing company. Ziatal Media and Marketing was born. We handle a wide range of services, from social media management, to lead generation, through varies platforms using backend ads, to website design and video creation. We strive to be a one-stop shop for everyone’s marketing needs. With how the business world is nowadays, it is very hard, some would say nearly impossible to grow a successful brand/company without the help of social media marketing and lead generation. This is where we come in, making that a seamless and easy process.
Have you ever had to pivot?
One of the biggest pivots I ever made in my career/life was the time I made the decision to leave my full-time manager position at Walmart, to start working part-time at a real estate office. I was potentially up for a promotion, however, I knew it was the right spot for me, so taking that leap of faith, leading to a huge pay cut was a big deal at the time. However, without it, I would have probably never have gotten into the marketing space.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?
Fortunately for me, the marketing business is fairly cheap to get started in. There are a few important programs and some equipment that will help you to execute the job properly, but all in all you can start for under $1,000
