Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Taylor Peters. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Taylor, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
I want to be the person who creates a new family legacy for myself as well as for others. I want to create a mindset of abundance, health, generosity and happiness for all I come in contact with.
Taylor, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My story starts in a little Ohio town. I was raised in a small town with a big family and was taught very traditional beliefs. Go to college, get a degree, get a good job, settle down and retire after 40 years. That’s all my family has ever known, so that’s the path I started on. I graduated with a degree in electrical engineering and got right into the workforce out of college to make some money. After a few different construction jobs over the span of a few years, I realized I hated what I was doing. I was tired of working out of state, traveling to different locations weekly, staying in cheap motels, eating fast food every day and having no time to live my life. The money was good but I was absolutely miserable. I wanted to get into my profession of engineering so I could enjoy the benefits of the white-collar workforce. I thought that was going to give me everything I ever wanted. After getting my “dream job” as an engineering technician for a power company in Ohio, everything was perfect, for about two months. Then, the monotony started to kick in. I was doing the same thing day in and day out and was being trained by people that had been working there for 35-40 years. Seeing these people gave me a quick glimpse at what my future was going to be like if I didn’t do something about it. The thought of it gave me a mild panic attack. These people were unhealthy, broke, and miserable and I wanted no part of that life. I have always imagined my life as an adventure. I wanted to travel, impact people’s lives, live life on my terms and do something meaningful. I knew the corporate career path was never going to give it to me. This inspiration led me to several areas of entrepreneurship.
I started in real estate wholesaling, tried affiliate marketing, and even eventually moved into modeling and acting. I was trying all these things to see what was going to stick for me so I could earn an income outside of the 9-5 work life. Several trials and errors left me sitting right back in a cubicle in my engineering job still wondering what it was going to be for me. I had no idea what I was going to do, but I knew there had to be a better way. One day, a random stranger reached out to me on social media. I see this guy who is about my age traveling the world, speaking on stages, helping a lot of people, and living life on his terms and it really caught my attention. After having a conversation with him, he introduced me to the amazing industry of health & nutrition in partnership with a beautiful health and wellness company. From that day on, everything in my life has been different. I jumped in with both feet, started my online business in the health and wellness industry, and have drastically increased the quality of people I get to surround myself with, learned from extremely successful entrepreneurs. and truly live life on my terms. This is also the primary reason why I’m living in the Tampa Bay area. I primarily work with clients on a 1-on-1 basis to provide health solutions such as healthy weight loss, natural energy gain, better performance in the gym, skin care, cognitive enhancement and even anti-aging. Since starting my business in 2019, I’ve been able to, both directly and indirectly, impacted hundreds upon hundreds of people’s lives in the world of health and nutrition, create an online income stream that can be worked from anywhere, become a mindset and motivation coach and have significantly improved my communication and leadership skills as well. I am so grateful for the journey and excited for the future, especially here in Tampa Bay!
