Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Taylor Eaton. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Taylor thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
Being successful – truly successful (not just in external metrics, but also internally satisfied and fulfilled) – requires you to become the version of you who is already successful. In a way, this sounds like a catch 22 situation. But really, it requires you to think, feel, and act like the version of you who has already achieved the success you desire.
I was always taught that if I worked hard enough, I could accomplish whatever I wanted in life.
But I’ve come to find that hard work for the sake of hard work just burns you out.
The real hard work is shifting how you view yourself. Once you can shift that, you can do anything. And it won’t even feel hard because it’ll feel congruent – even natural – with who you’re becoming.
When I set out to create my oracle deck, I didn’t consider myself an oracle deck author…but I was willing to start to think like one. To believe I could be one. To feel like one (before I was one). And then to finally act like one (meaning actually writing an oracle deck and getting it published).
Same with when I scaled my business up from $0 to multiple six-figures in revenue – I had to stop thinking, identifying as, and acting like someone who was broke. I had to embody the version of me who was confident, courageous, and driven enough to make that kind of money. That included acknowledging where I needed to strengthen certain skills or learn new things, because I knew that the version of me who was capable of calling in multiple six-figures in my business was also more than willing to learn whatever she needed to learn to grow.
That willingness to identify who you need to become and then bridge the gap between that version of you and the current version of you is what will inevitably lead you to each new level of success. It’s a game of continual inner growth and pushing your own boundaries.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a wealth activator. Everything I do is geared toward helping individuals tap into their inner-power and then translate it into external success/abundance.
I love exploring the intersection of money and spirituality as I feel it’s not a very deeply explored topic, but one that offers so many opportunities for us all to change the way we see wealth and success – and help us unlock the limitless potential we each hold.
From mindset work, to Human Design, to tarot readings – I create programs, services, and products that helps people feel empowered around money (rather than enslaved to the pursuit of it).
I got into this work after struggling with money through my mid-twenties. I did all the things I was SUPPOSED to do (go to a good school, get good grades, get a good job)…and yet I was still struggling to make enough money and was drowning in student loan debt.
Since the prescribed path to success and wealth had failed me, I started exploring manifestation, mindset work, and the mystical – and how they all related to money. After starting to see major shifts in my finances, I started to teach what I was learning to others. Thus my business was born in 2018 and I’ve since worked with thousands of individuals to change their financial realities.
I offer tons of hands-on tools and resources for rewiring your mindset & manifesting wealth inside of The Wealth Vibe membership (a low-cost monthly membership). https://www.tayloreaton.com/thewealthvibe
I also created The Wealthy Woman Oracle Deck and The Way of the Wealthy Woman Journal as physical tools to help individuals tune into their own innate guidance and gifts for creating abundance in their lives. https://www.tayloreaton.com/wealthywoman
And I offer free in-depth tarot/oracle readings on YouTube specifically geared toward activating abundance and success. https://www.youtube.com/@Taylor-Eaton
I am most proud of The Wealthy Woman Oracle Deck as I had to truly live the principles of that deck in order to get it out into the world…and it inspired the birth of an entire publishing house (my now publisher), Muse Oracle Press. It’s transformed thousands of people’s lives and I am so proud of who I had to become to create this – and not to mention the ripple effect it’s had in the world so far.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn the story that hard work equals success.
I grew up believing that hard work was the answer to everything.
Want more money? Work harder.
Want more success? Work harder.
Want more happiness in life? Work harder.
Want to lose weight? Work harder.
I think this is such a popular narrative because there’s a kernel of truth to it (you DO have to take action to create what you want in life), but also because it makes us feel like we can be 100% in control of how our lives unfold.
And while hard work carried me toward a lot of what I wanted…it didn’t get me all the way there. And it burned me out in the process.
(Truthfully, I’ve had to unlearn this lesson several times over working in day jobs, with new levels I’ve hit in my business, and more.)
About a year into my business, I was struggling to barely make $2,000/month. But within 6 weeks of focusing less on working hard at creating external results, but more about working hard at being WHO I wanted to become (the version of me who thought, felt, and acted like someone who was making 5 figures each month), I jumped up to making $20,000/month.
I’ve found that hard work is great, but only if it’s done in a way that’s sustainable for you AND in the direction that will help you evolve into the version of you who is compatible with what you want.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
I was originally taught to cold message people and try to convince people to purchase from me on sales calls. It all felt slimy and it worked less than 1% of the time.
Nowadays I focus on attraction marketing (attracting my ideal client to me and creating offers for them to purchase if/when they’re ready). I never do any outreach.
But here are my real secrets to growing my clientele:
1. I speak to people like they’re geniuses. I speak and sell to the people who will see the value in what I’m offering (I don’t try to convince people who don’t). I speak to their potential (not their fears or doubts). We’re so often told we need to prey on people’s fears to make sales. And that works…but I’ve found that speaking to someone’s capabilities and empowering them to see their own potential through your work not only results in more buyers, but also in customers who are much more capable of getting results from your products/offers. And this results in more word-of-mouth referrals and return clients.
2. I give people a taste of what it’s like to work with me or use my product. I do this mainly through my YouTube readings. I show people how beautiful and powerful my deck and journal are…and I also share my insights, wisdom, and energy. I don’t hold back. I give everything I’ve got in those videos. And for the people that resonates with, they go on to join my membership and/or buy my products. My brilliant friend once told me that if I wanted to sell my deck, I needed to be the master showing everyone else how I use my tools. I took that and applied it to everything I do/sell. I’m a master at what I do, I’ll show you how I do it, and if you want to go deeper with me, then there are many ways to do that.
