The story behind TaylahMadeTresses would have to be acknowledging my multiple different hobbies. I was venturing out to see what mainly fit me & my passion. With that being said, hair is the hobby that STOOD out the most, so instead of keeping it at a hobby and supporting other businesses, I turned mine into a business. Having the support team I have, I began to pursue it even more and start the business. Not only can I get better with my passion but it also allows me to build both professional/personal relationships with my TMT baes. Well, during Quarantine, I had just started my natural hair journey and I was so frustrated and upset because my hair wasn’t long enough for braids. I took that frustration and turned it into determination. I was coming up with many different business ventures and I thought to myself, “hmm, what am I passionate about?” THATS HAIR! I absolutely love having beautiful, long tresses and getting my hair done. I am indeed one of those people who doesn’t go anywhere if my hair isn’t done. So, I started my hair business because hair is a part of me. I have always been passionate about feeling good and looking good. I started off just purchasing bundles and wigs from different vendors for myself. I had always thought about selling hair. My business is not necessarily for one race/ethnicity. My business is for everyone. Everyone is welcome to shop! I sell the finest 10A Virgin bundles, wig units, frontals and closures. I think the quality and price sets my business apart from others. You get great quality hair without spending “an arm and a leg”!
