Alright, Tay thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

When I started in photography, it was just about capturing my own life.. I never planned on turning it into a business or photographing others. But as I explored this art form, other people started seeing my potential first and encouraging me to start photographing others and exploring my ideas with models.

Now, my mission is simple: to photograph my everyday life and inspire everyone to see the art in theirs as well because that’s really all I’m doing. You don’t need a fancy camera, I still don’t have one which just shows you can still create art no matter your circumstance.

Tay, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Hey everyone! My name is Tay and I am a 23 year old artist from Toledo, Ohio. I got into photography in 2019 when I was gifted a camera from my uncle. I did the best I could with my 18-55 lens until I booked enough shoots to grab some better lenses and.. I still shoot with the same camera since day 1. As I stated, it initially started as me just photographing my life in the most artistic way I could & in a way, I am still doing that. I love being a photographer because I am photographing my OWN unique life, and everyone else’s as well.

I am very passionate about my work & I do not limit myself to what I can do. Whether it’s a creative shoot, family photos, wedding photos, street photos, I do it all and I even offer travel if you are not local! I want everyone to experience shooting with me because of the emphasis I place on creativity – I want people to tap into their potential with me! Creating art and photos that you will have forever.. it’s just so limitless and exciting.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The end results. The process isn’t always easy or fun but it’s so much more worth it when your customer is satisfied and realizes what they can do.

There was two incidents that my car was broken into and I had my equipment stolen. I could have easily thrown in the towels and thought of a list of excuses as to why I can’t create art but instead I knew what I wanted so I went and got it.
