I have been practicing the art of photography for about 15 years now. Beginning when I was 13 years old as a hobby, because I was interested in modeling which did not work out. I was not going to allow one closed door to discourage me, so I picked up the next best thing. From an early age, I knew the ultimate goal was to have my own studio. In 2013, I graduated high school  photographing nearly the entire year book. Prior to graduating, my Grandfather and I had a conversation about life after school. In which he recommended I apply for job positions within metro and various others. However, I was interested in photography. The following day, I enrolled in a photography program called Hallmark Institute of Photography, as the only African American in my class. It was a lovely experience and taught me so much about photography and editing. I graduated from the program in 2014, and began to work in the field of photography. I have gained work experience from many well known photography studios in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area to gain knowledge of the industry. During that time I also had a 2nd job for 6 years to save money to open my own business. 2 years later, I am making the most money I’ve ever made working for myself. God has a plan for everyone but you have to be patient and willing to do what it takes to get to where you want to go.

My name is Tavon Ingram, I am an experienced photographer and own a photography studio in Charles County, MD called Exquisite Imaging. We deliver photos the same day which include digital copies and printed copies. Here at EXQUISITE IMAGING we value each and every customer and make sure to put a smile on your face by creating memories that will last for a lifetime.

Building my reputation started with great customer service and social media. Social media is a huge influence in today’s society. However we also cater to our customers wants and ensure they are satisfied before leaving, which in return they will recommend you to others. It starts by making sure your customers expectations are exceeded. I also had loyal customers who I have photographed prior to opening my own studio that returned time and time again.

I worked two jobs for years to save and buy equipment for my photography studio. I did not take out a loan because I did not believe it was in my best interest to do so. Having a savings account and investing in myself and my dream, allowed my dream come true.
