TAVi Art , appreciate you joining us today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
I started doing our walks in Laguna Beach six years ago gotten on. There is a next modern Picasso. I had a vision of opening up a gallery with a retail shop when I’m at my gallery I’m constantly producing art and products.
TAVi Art , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I started out as an artist doing art walk in Laguna Beach known as the next modern Picasso. My idea was to have a gallery with different products so that everyone could afford a piece of my art . my idea was also to create art on clothing and sneakers. having a gallery with a retail shop with my vision
How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?
What I did, I use my savings and the ideas that I had an investor in my brand and myself. five years ago, I walked out of my real job. I’ve been an artist for 30 years, and took the leap of faith. Give him back to my community and helping local artist and giving back to three of my charities is a very important part of my business
Has your business ever had a near-death moment? Would you mind sharing the story?
when I open up my gallery, I have been hospitalized from Covid and nearly died from Covid. I was putting my gallery on my opening day with oxygen tanks. like most business owners, it’s a risk in opening up a business. Sometimes my rent will be late, but I was able to cover all of my bills watching my budget and my expenses. It’s very important. I took the leap of faith and the universe always has my back. My biggest thing is giving back to the art community helping local artist and I have three charities that I donate and raise money every year
