We recently connected with Tatiana Zaytseva and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Tatiana thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear the story of how you went from this being just an idea to making it into something real.
Art is an intrinsic part of who I am—it flows through my very being. Creating art is my way of expressing my true self, and it has become an undeniable passion in my life. I’ve come to realize that you don’t need a formal art background to be an artist. Once I understood this, everything changed for me. Art has allowed me to love and appreciate myself, and it fills me with immense pride. Throughout my life, I always had an interest in art and its history. I strived to create pieces that were aesthetically pleasing, unique, and exquisite in their own right. However, it was during the onset of the Covid pandemic that I found myself with some unexpected free time. I decided to utilize that time to delve into the study of art history, which turned out to be a turning point for me. Taking a course on contemporary art history made me understand that one doesn’t necessarily need an academic background to engage in art-making.
It sparked a sense of curiosity and adventure within me. I began experimenting with different techniques, materials, and styles, and I found myself enjoying the process more and more. Whenever an idea struck me, I would delve into research, analyze possibilities, and conduct tests. Once I had a clear vision of how to bring that idea to life, I would execute it. The lack of a formal art education compelled me to constantly reinvent and develop my own techniques. Strangely enough, this became the most captivating aspect of my creative process.
Within just two years, I had the privilege of participating in collective exhibitions at a small gallery in Miami. Simultaneously, I applied to showcase my work at the Spectrum Art fair during Miami Art Week. It was there that I had the opportunity to connect with fellow artists and knowledgeable gallerists. In fact, one of them became my official representative, a partnership that continues to this day. Since then, I have exhibited my art at various prestigious events like Art Expo New York, Art Santa Fe, Art Dallas, Red Dot, and Context in Miami. The reach of my paintings has extended beyond the borders of the United States, and I am thrilled with the remarkable growth of my artistic career.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My entry into the art world was not through a traditional academic path. Instead, I discovered my artistic calling through a profound realization that being an artist does not require a formal art background. This revelation changed the course of my life and unleashed a torrent of creative energy within me. It allowed me to embrace my unique artistic voice and find true fulfillment in my craft. As an artist, I offer a diverse range of products and creative works. I explore various techniques, materials, and styles to bring my visions to life. Each piece I create is meticulously crafted with the intention of evoking beauty, inspiration, and a sense of wonder.
One of the key aspects that sets me apart is my unwavering dedication to perfection and aesthetic refinement. I strive to bring a sense of uniqueness and sophistication to every artwork I create. I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of creativity, constantly experimenting with new techniques, and infusing my work with a distinct artistic signature.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect with my clients on a deep level. Through my art, I aim to solve the problem of creating emotional connections and providing a means for self-expression. My clients can expect to acquire not just a beautiful piece of art, but also an experience that resonates with their emotions and personal journey.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Building a reputation within the art market requires a combination of strategic actions and consistent effort. Here are some key steps that can help artists in this process:
