We recently connected with Tatiana Denisova and have shared our conversation below.
Tatiana, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. The first dollar you earn is always exciting – it’s like the start of a new chapter and so we’d love to hear about the first time you sold or generated revenue from your creative work?
I sold my first painting when I was 11 years old in Israel. I sold it for $850, which was a huge amount of money at the time. Since then, I have exhibited my artwork worldwide, sold numerous paintings, and completed many commissions. I also create murals and ceiling paintings.

Tatiana, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
At the age of four, I already knew that I would become an artist. From that moment on, I dedicated my entire life to this path. I never studied painting anywhere—my teachers came to me in dreams, guiding me through the process. That’s how I learned to paint and became an artist.
Today, I live and work in Miami, selling my paintings and exhibiting my work extensively. I also write books and develop various creative projects.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My ultimate goal is for the whole world to know me as an artist. Through my paintings, I show people new worlds and change their lives, even if just a little.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
To be an artist means to be free. In creativity, just like in the sky, there are no boundaries, and you can do absolutely anything.
