We recently connected with Tasha Norwood and have shared our conversation below.

Tasha, appreciate you joining us today. Day to day the world can seem like a tough place, but there’s also so much kindness in the world and we think talking about that kindness helps spread it and make the world a nicer, kinder place. Can you share a story of a time when someone did something really kind for you?

The Kindest thing I’ve ever done for someone was give them my last while I was going through my own troubles. Well to be honest I didn’t have it to give away but with me being spiritual & loving God I always choose to do the right thing. I was in line at the gas station & I saw a homeless person who I’ve walked past a couple of times. I didn’t know if she had the money to pay for her stuff but i offered to buy everything plus any other items she needed. It was also a child in line so I decided to get his as well. They both were astonished & happy because it’s not normal for people to just be kind. That right there made me feel proud. I took the rest of the money I had & made bags for homeless people because of her but when I came back she was gone. I never seen her again. I believe God put me in that situation to see would I be a server to him. Thank God I’m a just do the right thing person in life because it was definitely my honor. It mattered to me so much because you never know what someone is going through. I’ve been there before & it wasn’t easy trying to stay happy in the mist of a storm alone. That’s why I’ll always be there for anyone who just needs a smile.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

For those of you who haven’t read my previous stories I got into both of my businesses because of what was occurring in my life. When I started my cleaning business I was homeless living in motels with my son while being in an abusive relationship. When I started my Spiritual & Self love coach businesses I was completely out of that toxic situation & loving myself more so I could heal then later help heal others who’ve went through the same.

My first business is Sonshines cleaning. I offer residential, commercial, Airbnb & any of your other needs pertaining to cleaning. In the year 2023 I will be selling My own organic cleaning products.
My second business is being a Self love Coach/ Spirituality. I help my clients with numerous things such as of course loving themselves, setting boundaries, them understanding of divine & masculine, the 48 laws & so on.
I also sell healing crystals & other products that help you heal as a whole such as bracelets, necklaces, sage & more coming soon.

With all of my businesses i believe I come into there life to help heal them in some type of way.
For example: With my cleaning business I get a lot of people of work too much, are single parents or just dealing with life in general. After they have trusted Me with even being In their home they are so appreciative & happy once they see the results. It’s a load off their shoulders now they actually have some time to at least relax in a comfy clean home.

Example for my Self love coaching: I listen to people. I allow them to talk with no interruptions nor judgement. I understand them because of everything I went through so I know sometimes people feel like they aren’t heard. I assure them that they are in good hands & I am a safe place.

Example of my spiritual business: when I speak life into or simply pray for them it changes their whole mood. I teach them how to speak words of affirmations & let the past go. The sense of knowing tomorrow will be better than the last is all you need to know some times..

What’s sets me apart is the simple fact I’m from Compton, Ca but I am very diverse. I can go literally everywhere & relate to everyone in some kind of way. It’s very easy for me to adapt but still be my trust honest self. people seem to like that

I am most proud of myself for accomplishing all of this on MY OWN. No one can say I did this or I helped her with anything. From the ground up I built all of my businesses alone while being a single mother. I didn’t scam, steal, nor doing anything illegal. I put in the work then executed every obstacle thrown in my way. I made myself a Boss.

I just want my past & future clients to know as long as you’ve got me by your side you are perfectly fine. I’m very professional & whatever needs you may have I’ll be there for you. My brand was started to help others. This is only the beginning.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

In 2021 until now I definitely had to pivot in my businesses. I had to take the time off & learn things for myself that would ultimately help my businesses grow.

The self love I was giving to everyone else I had to give to myself. I spent that time learning about my family’s history, learning about what I actually liked & going out into nature just to celebrate life. We’re so stuck working all the time we forget about everything else that is important in life.

I took the time to balance my chakras, heal from my childhood trauma & meditate. Meditation & praying is crucial especially when you deal with problems on your own. My brother & grandmother died this year so all of the healing I was doing helped me when I felt like I couldn’t go on. We have no control over what happens in life but it’s up to you to choose to keep going. That’s exactly what I did … paused then kept going.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I built my audience on social media by literally just being me. I share what I go through & I also teach what I’ve been taught. I’ve had people try to tell me to fake it til I make it or give people a whole persona of someone who I’m not. I completely separated myself from everyone who was steering me in that direction.

By being an honest genuine person the right audience will be lead to you. Allow people to love you and want to work with you for who you are. Make sure you show up as you every single time.
