We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ta’sha Henry a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Ta’sha , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your business sooner or later
I wish I would have started my business as soon as I graduated high school back in 2003! I allowed fear to distract me for years! I started my business in 2015 when I finally took a leap of faith and moved to Atlanta GA from New Jersey. I was working remote as medical coder during the transition. HOWEVER I must say I am at peace with the way things have happened in my life! Only because it is GOD’s timing vs my timing! Also my mindset back then was nowhere near where it is now and I know I wouldn’t have been prepared for the journey that I have been on if it happened any sooner!
Ta’sha , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
The Lesson I Had To Unlearn Is That Fear Never Goes Away You Have To Learn To Push Through It! Also Self Awareness Is Not Always Comfortable But Learning About Yourself Is One Of The Best Parts Of Life!
In Other Words Your Mind Is A Powerful Thing Learn To Speak Positive To It. Be Confident & Self Aware Of The Decisions You Decide To Make In Life! Be Open Minded To New Things. And Never Give Up On Yourself No Matter What! I Had To Learn All Of This Through Trial & Error In Life. I Also Had To Learn Self Accountability For The Role I Played In Some Of My Actions & Reactions To Life Situations! Be A Everyday Learner! None Of Us Are Perfect And We All Have Our Ups & Downs. As Long As You Learn From Them!
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I Had To Pivot In Life Plenty Of Times! My Most Recent Time Was When I Got Covid 3 Months After My Wedding! I Was Quarantined For 7 Days At Home & Then Another 7 Days In The Hospital With No Visitations Except Doctors,Nurses Staff! My Business Was Basically Shut Down During This Time There Was Nothing I Could Do But Focus On My Health And Let My Customers Know What Was Going On! I Truly Appreciate My Customers Because They Understood And Gave Me Grace During This Time! I Wish I Would Have Gave Myself More Grace Because My Mental Health Was All Over The Place I Was Scared, Sad, Mad, Unsure etc! Yet I Managed To Take Things One Day At A Time And Just Do My Best! I Learned That It’s Not How Many Times You Fall But How Many Times You Keep Getting Up!
