We were lucky to catch up with Tasha H recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Tasha, thanks for joining us today. One of the most important things we can do as business owners is ensure that our customers feel appreciated. What’s something you’ve done or seen a business owner do to help a customer feel valued?
Customer Appreciation Story
One of the ways I like to show appreciation to my clients is by making sure every session feels personal. I try to listen closely and remember the little details—whether that’s offering a grounding oil blend I know they love, sharing a simple self-care practice they can do at home, or just holding space for them to breathe and relax.
I had a client once who mentioned how hard it was for her to unwind at night. The next time she came in, I shared a simple grounding ritual using breath and visualization that she could try before bed. She later told me it made her feel supported, and like someone cared about how she felt outside the treatment room too.
For me, customer appreciation isn’t always about grand gestures. It’s about noticing, listening, and offering small moments that help someone feel seen and supported.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
About 303 Massage & The Owner
I’ve been a massage therapist in Colorado for over 20 years, and what I love most is helping people reconnect with their bodies in simple, approachable ways. I’ve always believed in the body’s natural ability to heal itself, and I see massage as both an art and a necessity for people living with pain, tension, or the overwhelm of daily life.
In 2009, I founded 303 Massage, where I was proud to be one of the first in Colorado to offer fully infused CBD massage services. My focus has always been on providing true therapeutic bodywork—helping clients resolve muscular tension, manage chronic pain, and recover from stress through precision-focused techniques like neuromuscular massage, trigger point therapy, and adhesion release.
Over time, I also noticed more of my clients were seeking ways to feel balanced not just physically, but energetically and emotionally. This inspired me to create 303 Energy™, a collection of simple, grounding rituals designed to help people reconnect with their own sense of calm, clarity, and inner balance. These sessions are approachable and supportive—created for everyday people who may feel overwhelmed or disconnected.
Today, 303 Massage continues to offer both therapeutic massage and energy-centered services in a way that feels personal, welcoming, and focused on the client’s needs. I see myself more as a guide than an expert—holding space for people to relax, recover, and revive in whatever way they need that day.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Resilience Story
Resilience, to me, has always shown up in the quiet ways—being consistent, holding space, and continuing to show up for my clients even when life around us feels uncertain.
Over the years, I’ve navigated many shifts—whether it was the pandemic, changes in where my business was located, or just the natural ebbs and flows of working in a small community. Through it all, I found that the best way to stay grounded was to stay connected to my clients and focus on the heart of what I do—helping people feel better in their bodies and minds.
When things felt challenging, I leaned into offering services that supported what people were going through at the time, whether that was stress relief, grounding rituals, or simply a quiet space to rest and reset.
Resilience, for me, isn’t about doing more—it’s about continuing to show up with care, even when things are uncertain.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Pivot Story
One of the most natural pivots I’ve made came from listening to what my clients were needing, especially in recent years. More and more people were coming to me not just for physical relief, but for a way to feel more centered, more grounded, and more connected to themselves.
That’s what led me to create 303 Energy™, a series of simple, accessible rituals that help people reconnect with their energy, find a sense of calm, and bring a little more balance into their lives. These sessions grew from the conversations I was already having in the treatment room—clients asking how they could feel more at ease in their day-to-day routines.
This pivot wasn’t about reinventing myself, but about quietly evolving to meet people where they are. Sometimes the most meaningful changes in a business come from paying attention to what people are asking for, and allowing your work to shift naturally in response.
