Alright, Taryn thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. To kick things off, we’d love to hear about things you or your brand do that diverge from the industry standard

When I first created my sunless product line back in 2007, I told myself that I didn’t want to be like everyone else who had a sunless tanning solution, I wanted my products to be better therefore I took sunless tanning to a new level and added anti-aging ingredients in them because let’s face it, we all want to take care of our skin and keep it looking young and healthy. That’s where Paradise Sunless & Beauty was created, clients are not just getting a spray tan but are getting a skin treatment as well.

Taryn, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I first started working in a tanning salon back in 2005 and we offered spray tanning for like 3 months before the salon closed. I loved the benefits of a custom spray tan because it was getting a tan without the harmful UV rays and skin damage so I started doing mobile tans.

My sunless products are made with high-quality ingredients, I don’t cut corners when it comes to creating a product, I want it to be the best out there which is probably one of the reasons I was voted the #1 sunless tanning company in Los Angeles and Orange County.

What sets me apart from others is that my clients get more than just a flawless spray tan, they get a skin treatment along with it from the anti aging ingredients in my products. Another thing that sets me apart from others is that my tans are always natural looking, clients never have to worry about looking orange. So if clients need a tan for TV, Print, Film, RUNWAY, Photoshoot, Wedding, Vacation, etc., they will get a beautiful flawless spray tan.
I am proud knowing that clients from A-list celebrities to the busy professional put their trust in me knowing they will have a custom spray tan with the perfect color.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

When I first started doing mobile spray tans back in 2005, I would advertise on Craigslist and gained new clientele. From there it became word of mouth and lots of referrals. Nowadays we have social media so I’ll do some advertising on there and will gain more clientele.

What helped built my reputation within the market was my integrity, personality, knowledge, experience, and affordable prices.
