We were lucky to catch up with Tari Robinson recently and have shared our conversation below.
Tari, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I’ve wanted to pursue a creative path since the age of six years old, when I first started writing little plays and songs. I vividly remember being in a show wagon with my siblings and cousins, rehearsing music and dance performances for a live audience. That experience sparked my desire to be in the entertainment business. Over the years, my passion for storytelling and creating has only grown stronger, guiding me toward a professional career in the arts.
Tari, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
T&T Management and Production is a minority, woman-owned production company with offices in Atlanta, GA, and Omaha, NE, established in 2007. We are dedicated to creating compelling stories for the world, specializing in film, television, web series, and music video production and marketing.
Our team is comprised of knowledgeable individuals with a balanced mix of skills, including financing, talent cultivation, foresight, planning, timing, and strategic execution. We are a tenacious group of creative professionals, experts in our craft. With over 30 years of industry experience, our team excels in all aspects of short film production, from concept development and writing to casting, filming, and post-production services.
Our first award-winning short film, The Conscience, secured an international distribution deal. Since then, T&T Management and Production, LLC has written and produced numerous award-winning short films across various genres, including thriller, faith-based, drama, comedy, horror, crime, and suspense, securing multiple distribution deals.
At the heart of T&T Management and Production is our vision: to entertain, enlighten, and educate the world through movies, TV, and music. We strive to provide thought-provoking entertainment experiences from a global perspective. This vision is the essence of who we are and what we do.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of being a creative artist is the ability to bring stories to life and share them with the world. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see how the T&T Management and Production original projects resonate with audiences, sparking emotions and inspiring conversations. The creative process itself is a journey of discovery and self-expression, where we can push boundaries and explore new ideas. Knowing that art can make a difference, whether by entertaining, enlightening, or providing a new perspective, is what truly makes this path so gratifying.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Our creative journey is driven by the mission to tell stories that entertain, enlighten, and inspire. We aim to create works that resonate deeply with audiences and are thought provoking. By exploring diverse perspectives and tackling meaningful themes, our hope is to foster a greater understanding and appreciation of different experiences.
