Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Taresa Scott, M.S. Ed.. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Taresa, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
As a company, our mission is to develop a learning and development strategy that empowers employees to own their career journey. Career development is something I am passionate about and I know is the backbone to the retention of any organization. It’s important that employees have ongoing access to educational resources to continue to develop their knowledge and enhance their skills. Today’s workforce is evaluating companies for career developing opportunities and I want to ensure that employers have the advantage of equipping their teams and themselves with the resources to grow. Your career is a journey that is unique to the individual and that is something that I’ve grown to appreciate and want to share that opportunity with others.
Taresa, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I entered the L&D industry five years ago, after earning a Master’s of Science in Education degree. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to exercise my skills as an innovative strategic-thinker to help organizations to design, develop, and deliver learning solutions to educate and engage their global teams. The purpose of Bleuprint is to take a collaborative approach in helping organizations maximize learning and development to advance the careers of their employees, retain top talent, and increase the skills of their teams to excel globally.
My experience has allowed me to make a growing impact to unite employees across various locations, cultures, and backgrounds. I believe teamwork and collaboration is a major key to success, so it’s important that I work with each organization to uncover their unique needs to help close existing skills gaps. In addition, Bleuprint offers learning journeys to establish a connection with employees by developing personalized training for a diverse workforce on topics such as leadership development, DE&I, technical skills, communication, and new employee orientation.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Being an entrepreneur is all about resiliency. When trying to build your network and introduce your brand to others you can easily go into a place of self-doubt and uncertainty. I’ve dealt with the countless networking events and one-on-ones that led to time wasted, rude remarks, and simply people questioning my abilities and experience. When I self-reflect, I am thankful that I didn’t allow the naysayers to keep me down or impact my confidence I have in my abilities. I’ve witnessed the impact of work over and over again so I kept going. I’ll admit, I’ve changed my strategy on who and where I market my business to, to better reach my ideal client. However, my journey continues and I’ve allowed myself to fail-forward from the very beginning in this process. That is what has led me to the success I have today.

It’s always best to show up for others, especially your clients. I am intentional about reaching out, following up, and ensuring their expectations are exceeded. When it comes to brand loyalty, authenticity is my differing factor that I bring to the table. My clients truly enjoy the ease of working with me, appreciate that I am fearless in tackling their most complex problems, and quickly discover that I am someone that is sure to execute a complete solution.
