Alright, Tara thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with education – we’d love to hear your thoughts about how we can better prepare students for a more fulfilling life and career.

I believe our educational system treats children as a one-size-fits-all. We do not use their strengths to help point them in the direction of a fulfilling or successful future career. Most of the time, we tend to shame children for their weaknesses, all signs of a dysfunctional system.

One of the benefits of understanding one’s Astrology chart is that it defines our best attributes so we may shine. Our North Node is the area of life we are striving to become. It marks our highest potential and points one to their gifts to share.

I studied American Literature with a minor in education. I truly wanted to be part of the change to create an environment where students could harness their innate talent. This would in turn give them the confidence to explore the possibilities of a career that gives them a sense of purpose.

We spend so much of our adult life at a job. It should be something we are passionate about, so it will feel expansive, rather than constrictive.

I was bored in school as a child. After college, I studied yoga, massage, and Astrology, everything I love! Learning felt exciting and expansive, the way it was meant to be.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I received many Astrology readings in early adulthood, in which many of them told me it was a gift from a past life and something I should pursue. I started mentoring with one of them, and now I’m an Astrology teacher myself.

I love guiding others to self-discovery by helping to see what their purpose and gifts are to share with the world. As well as the challenges they must overcome, and patterns to break. I also point out their biggest wound (Chiron) which is the deep work many people avoid. I use my intuition to guide clients into powerful breakthroughs and profound healing.

This spiritual work is a true blessing in understanding your divine timing and how to align with the cosmic transits.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

The best source of new clients is always word-of-mouth referrals. Most of my business is through someone who shared their experience with a friend. At least half of my clientele return several times a year for guidance. I also have a presence on Instagram that brings new people to my work.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

I think showing up with authenticity, walking the talk so to speak. I know my subject well and have put in the time to grow my business through retreats, podcasts, courses, publishing, social media, and speaking events. etc. I’ve done it all, and although each avenue didn’t always work out, I kept going forward willing to try new angles to keep my business growing.
