Taquera, appreciate you joining us today. What was the most important lesson/experience you had in a job that has helped you as a business owner?

As someone who has worked in retail I saw at a early stage that you can have great products with great quality but what really matters is the experience and/or lifestyle you sell. For The Trends is a mindset brand you have to have that trendsetter mindset to even consider wearing our products. We want to make sure our customers feel confident in themselves when putting on For The Trends brand.

Hey y’all my name is Taquera but my trendsetting family calls me tee and this is my clothing brand For The Trends . We at For The Trends focus on showing the world that being a trendsetter is not only being admired for your sense of style but also for your inner beauty and brains, we also help our customers see that being a trendsetter starts with a confident mindset. We love to see our customers grow with every new product we create from our very first product the “OG tshirt” to our recent release.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

When having an on hand brand you always have to remember you are the brand. When growing on social media platforms you have to understand people want to see the actual person behind the brand, most times they want to come with you on this journey so don’t be afraid to show them who you are and what you have to offer.

Do you sell on your site, or do you use a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc?

I would recommend if you have a clothing brand to sell on your own website so your customers can feel comfortable when purchasing and even feel connected with you and the brand.
