We recently connected with Tanysha Pinder and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Tanysha , thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
Being a business owner of a salon comes with its challenges, but for the most part, it’s a unique business and you can get creative with hair styles and make clients happy and feel beautiful.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Owning your own business is beneficial, relaxing, and for the most part stress-free customize things how you want it providing the upmost satisfactory customer service, and being a good person and treating others as you want to be treated and making people feel better about the outer appearance that helps you feel good on the inside controlling the cost and making it affordable for hard-working families
Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.
I’ve been working as a medical assistant for years doing hair , since I was in high school started making flyers, passing them out, building my social media, build my clientele‘s and eventually saved up enough money to open my own salon having three girls made it a little easier to practice more style and advertise hairstyles at their school

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
What’s most important the more people know about your business the more chances you are getting clienteles I handed out flyers after Flyers wherever I went Whatever store I was in I’m handing out flyers to people who have children people who have locs, braids after I do a clients hair I’m taking pictures posted on social media, making reels telling a friend customer start to refer you. It’s all about people knowing about your business. Advertise advertise advertise.!!!!!
