We were lucky to catch up with Tanoka Adams Jr. recently and have shared our conversation below.

Tanoka, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think it takes to be successful?

What it takes to be successful is found within I truly believe. Although success is a good thing what we forget to mention success is achieving the highest version of yourself. What it takes to achieve that is an continuation pattern of discipline. Developing discipline can be very difficult when starting out due to the lack of good habits we do not notice in ourself. During this period of time we have to began to understand our mistake more clearly as we remove ourselves from the bad habits, its like the scenario of saying “removing yourself outside of your body”.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Starting my podcast journey I never knew I would have my own. I seen podcast as a way for me to understand how important building relationships with others was but most importantly how the mind works. As i would learn these things through platforms such as (Big Facts Podcast, Pivot Podcast, and I am Athlete Podcast) just to name a few. I began the journey of podcasting because I just from me watching for recreational entertainment from watching podcasts as I stated previously so it was just something I wanted to try since there was a passion that had developed. With the platform “TrapSet Podcast” I believe what makes this platform different from any other podcast outlet is that we are highlighting the talent that is impacting their communities and cities throughout, but making sure that they are getting a light shined on their handwork that they are doing but it is also a token as well for the talent to know we appreciate their commitment to making their small portion better. With building this brand and platform I am proud of the recognition within the community of our peers but most importantly the relationships we have developed throughout the platform tender so far.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.

TrapSet as a media platform we wanna make sure that we have a great relationships with any guest who have appeared and been able to keep and manage that bond. We see all of our guest as life long friends of the platform because with every guest we are told a story from where they started to where they are now. Having that ability to have those conversations shows the trust our guest have within us to feel free and comfortable enough to allow us those stories of their life, careers, and etc. We track our guest our previous guest as we follow many on social sites but we develop personal relationships as well as most guest we have on our platform we have developed a friendship off camera and some we attend events with, and etc.

How did you build your audience on social media?

Building an audience for TrapSet was difficult to start out. The difficulties were finding an audience that would follow us but we also had to create different tactics to find our target audience. As we have a lot of guest on our platform with exciting topics and great movement with Instagram reels, Tik Toks, and YouTube shorts have astronomically grew the platform numbers just from social media interaction.
