We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tania Smith. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tania below.
Alright, Tania thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear stories from your time in school/training/etc.
My career began as a professional live and studio musician, playing keyboards for various artists including a world tour with Kylie Minogue. I was fortunate to grow up in Australia as the protege of a local jazz musician which deeply shaped my path, and I eventually moved to the USA. After co writing a song that won a Grammy I became a hypnotherapist and started studying ancient healing practices from Peru, India & Japan. After visiting Tibet, I ultimately found my calling studying with esteemed Tibetan Bon lamas Chongtul Rinpoche and His Holiness Menri Gyalwa 33rd, who was the head of the Bon lineage for the world at the time. (Bon is the oldest and indigenous spiritual tradition of Tibet and recognized by the Dalai Lama).
In 2008, Chongtul Rinpoche brought a rare and precious teaching from a 7th century Tibetan Bon text to the United States called Tse Dup Soul Healing, which is a spiritual longevity practice, that teaches how to heal the soul and life force energies in the body. It helps to develop a more balanced mind, greater emotional and mental resilience, and a deeper sense of well-being overall. It helps one to feel happier, more compassionate, and even physically healthier. What’s really interesting about this form of energy healing is that it draws from ancient medical texts to show how spiritual energy actually informs and supports the body—helping to build a strong and radiant energy field.
The training was 3 years to become a Tse Dup Healer & 5 years to become a Tse Dup Lopon which is a certified teacher. I completed the 5 year training twice and became the first non Tibetan to teach the practice in the USA. It was very rigorous with daily meditation and mantra requirements in order to graduate and receive the empowerment from His Holiness. What kept me going was the profound results that I experienced, and now witness in my clients and students’ transformations.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am the founder and CEO of Rainbow Lovina Healing Arts, and I host various meditation and healing events as well as teaching a 3 year certification program in Tibetan Tse Dup Soul Healing. My 1:1 sessions are quite diverse and range from energy healing, intuitive readings, past life regression, and my 7 session creative mentorship program “Follow Your Bliss, Manifest Dreams” which helps you to define your soul mission and what it is that you want to start or grow, and we then work on aligning your energy towards your goal by clearing blocks and learning to listen more deeply to your inner voice, in order to create your unique vision. This program works well for anything you want to create, but I specialize in helping creative entrepreneurs and performers, as I understand the specific issues they face.
As a Tibetan soul healer I have worked with clients on an extensive list of various different issues ranging from autoimmune function, emotional trauma, grief and mental issues as well as physical injuries and pain. Because everything is looked at through the lens of being energy there is nothing that the practice can’t help. Also it works with the 5 elements that we know in nature which are the building blocks of all phenomena and are represented internally in the body also. At its core the energy healing brings these 5 elements back into balance.
As creative mentor and intuitive, I have helped many clients with guidance in personal and business life issues, including lawsuits, divorces and other complex business relationships and subjects as well as confidence and performance enhancement for artists and athletes. Once again looking through the lens of the energy and how it is moving or stuck.
I still release music under my own name and am currently working on an album with award winning producer Eric Seats under the name Radiant Galaxy. Our first single which is already out is a song called Radiance, which reflects the values I have as a healer.
I have an active practice in Nashville and online, primarily in the music and entertainment industry, as well as an international clientele, and I travel the world learning and teaching about higher consciousness in all its forms. My passion is serving and championing others, whether as a healer, creative mentor or spiritual guide, empowering my clients and students to live successful, healthy and happy lives…chasing their dreams and following their bliss!
I’m also co leading a tour to Egypt in November with my good friend and Egyptologist Mary Lomando, which is going to be amazing. This will be our 5th group we have taken to Egypt together, and Egypt never fails to amaze me. The energy there is incredible. The temples have a unique way of opening you up to whatever it is that you need, and the Great Pyramid is astounding. A once in a lifetime journey.

Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
I think as an energy healer or coach of any kind you need to have positive energy, a resilient mind and an open heart. Maintaining this well in our often chaotic world entails having some kind of daily spiritual practice that sets your energy the way you intend it to be. I have a daily meditation practice that keeps me grounded, open, and strong.
When clients enter my office space they come into a room that exists only for their success and healing, in whatever we are working on together, and my mind is totally focused on them and how to help.
Working in the creative field of music for so long, it helps me to use my creativity in order to help clients, as every person I meet is totally unique and has a unique situation. Nothing in my work is one size fits all, and I have various tools to customize each experience.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Most of my clients are either referrals or word of mouth, as well as social media and some print advertising. I’ve also partnered with Nashville’s largest and oldest crystal store called Cosmic Connections and my beautiful temple like office space is in the store. They have an amazing selection of gemstones and crystals which I also love as a jewelry designer, and my jewelry Crystal Gypsy Designs are also sold there.
