Tangerine, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to start by getting your thoughts on what you are seeing as some the biggest trends emerging in your industry
I’ve seen the need arise for quality pier diem staffing in the Healthcare Industry due to a shortage of full time Healthcare workers in the USA. Nurses and other Healthcare Professionals are deciding that they would like to work on their own terms, such as more flexibility with schedules and the ability to choose the shift load that they would like to commit to without the hassle of being told how to spend their time earing a living.
The healthcare industry is no stranger to the phenomenon of The Great Resignation. Since 2020 alone, 18 percent of healthcare workers have quit their jobs, with many surveys indicating 20-50 percent of physicians and nurses stating they’re ready to quit in the next year according to vitalworklife.com

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Tangerine K. Hope and I am the CEO of Paramount Medical Staffing Agency locate at 407 N Cedar Ridge Dr, Ste 330, Duncanville TX 75116.
I have been a business owner in the Staffing Industry along with my husband Mr. Gregory Hope for the last 10 years. Some of those years were completed in the State of Florida while the former of those years are completed here in the State of Texas. I started learning the industry by working for a close family member in the State of Virginia in 2013.
Our number one focus at PMSA is to gain access to the most qualified and trained employees with temp services from Paramount Medical Staffing Agency data base. Our main goal is to ensure that our client staffing needs are met in a timely manner. Our employment agency promises to be a solid partner focused on their needs. Our aim is to help our clients build a team of health care professionals who are already trained and ready to serve so that they can focus on the bigger picture.
PMSA are currently staffing Registered Nursing, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Med Techs, Certified Nurse Assistants, and Patient Care techs. We will be onboarding new disciplines of Healthcare employees in the near future.
We are literally doing the HR Work for our Clients by covering everything from pay roll, licensure screen, health screens, drug screens, workers comp, references and all of the things that makes them work ready.
I am proud of the fact that Paramount Medical Staffing is made up of a skilled team of Administrative individuals that work hard around the clock to see to it that are clients are satisfied with the services that we offer them at affordable rates.
PMSA client data base is throughout the State of Texas. We services nursing homes, hospices, assistant living facilities, and hospitals. We would also like to extend our services to the schools, jails, and military basis.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
I had to Pivot during the pandemic. The competition was difficult because no one was answering phones, fear had swept through the land, and no one was letting anyone in their facilities during those times. I had no contracts and yet I had to pay my administrative staff and rent. Things was looking pretty bad. I believe in prayer and so therefore there were lots of prayer going up that my faith would be strong during this process. I realize that it would take coaching my team, staying longer hours than the norm, and continue to persevere through all of the closed doors, So we knocked louder and longer. We utilize online social media marketing that helped give us an advantage as we continue to recruit new qualified staff with the expectation that when we get our first contract we would be ready to service immediately. We also became more personable with our Field Staff by communication via phone and through zoom technology versus using an app that some of our toughest competitors were using. The app may seem easier but it doesn’t replace communication! And we honed in on that. In 2021 PMSA built its first million dollars in business revenue. in the middle of a crisis. We did not give up and so therefore hope and the Grace of God brought us through those difficult times.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
What helped us to build a strong reputation was to stay true to our vision and remain consistent. Offering our clients qualified staff that will be dependable and reliable is always the goal. We stand on that. Being able to reinforce our company policy and procedures as it relates to employee disciplines.
