Tamya, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?

The name “1of1BeatsCosmetics”came from my makeup name “1of1Beats” which I extended once I expanded my makeup business with my cosmetics. The “1of1” alone comes from being original and your own individual everyone is different and unique in their own way which makes everyone “1of1”.

For some of the readers who haven’t read about me or my brand before, I’d like to introduce myself! I’m Tamya Michelle the owner and founder of “1of1Beats” and “1of1BeatsCosmetics” along with “1of1haircollection” my various of businesses offer Makeup Artistry, Cosmetics and, Luxury Hair Extensions! I’d like all my future clients/ customers to know we have something for everyone and take pride in doing business with you always!

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

Social media! Marketing on social and getting the audience that connects with you is a little bit easier on social media especially because of hashtags but also Networking at different events such as pop up shops, etc.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

Marketing my brands with my unique name and showcasing the different products I have to offer from each business while being all within the beauty industry.
