We recently connected with Tami Curry and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Tami thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Often outsiders look at a successful business and think it became a success overnight. Even media and especially movies love to gloss over nitty, gritty details that went into that middle phase of your business – after you started but before you got to where you are today. In our experience, overnight success is usually the result of years of hard work laying the foundation for success, but unfortunately, it’s exactly this part of the story that most of the media ignores. Can you talk to us about your scaling up story – what are some of the nitty, gritty details folks should know about?
We made the decision to scale up because I knew and felt there was much more we could offer to our I’mat Dream family. As someone who is dedicated to paying it forward, I decided to offer a variety of products and services to my dreamers, all designed to help them look and feel their best.
We will began offering workshops, ebooks, and mini courses to share valuable information on inner healing and beauty topics. We also began offering bundle packages, which allowed customers to get multiple products at a discounted rate.
We are excited to be able to expand our offerings and reach more people with our products, services and with our digital creations. We started to see an uptick in exposure, engagement and sales just as we planned. We are thrilled with the positive response we are getting from our dreamers and new audience as well.
We also started to make our products deliverable locally, making them more affordable and accessible to customers in our local Houston area.
So far our efforts to scale up has been a success and we will continue to expand our offerings in the coming future. We are proud of our success and look forward to continually provide high-quality products and services to our customers.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
My name is Tami Curry and for the past 3-4 years I have proudly served as an inner healing advocate. My own journey of healing through a marital divorce inspired me to become an advocate and help other women who are dealing with or considering divorce. On this journey, I felt as if I wasn’t doing enough and had much more to offer. Many times when we are healing from heartbreaks, we may not feel our best some days. You know, everyone is different with their process. That ultimately led me to the beauty industry where I would curate beauty products within a humanized brand to remind them of their beauty and the importance of confidence.
Prior to the beauty industry, although I was an entrepreneur, I was content staying in the background, where I felt more comfortable as an introvert. I knew that if I wanted to truly make an impact, I had to step out of my comfort zone and start paying it forward by sharing valuable information with like-minded people.
So, every night before going to bed, I said a prayer asking for guidance on how to live a life of purpose. Then one night, I had a dream that showed me how I could use beauty to make an impact and motivate and empower others.
In my dream, I saw a vision of myself helping others to look and feel their best. I saw myself teaching classes, giving lectures, and helping others to find the confidence and self-esteem that comes from being comfortable in your own skin. I knew that I had found my calling in the beauty industry.
It wasn’t easy at first. I faced challenges and faced fears, but I pushed through to make it happen. Now, I’m proud to say that I’m a successful beauty entrepreneur and I’m able to share my knowledge and experience with others. I’m living my dream, and I couldn’t be happier.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
When I first got divorced, I felt like my world was crumbling apart. I was so hurt and confused that I was sure I would never recover. But I was determined to heal, so I set a goal for myself and I worked hard every day to get closer to it.
I knew that it was going to be a long and difficult journey, so I made sure to give myself grace when I had bad days. I also made sure to be honest with myself about my feelings and struggles. I knew that if I just pushed them away, I would never be able to make real progress.
I started to take better care of myself. I made sure I was eating nourishing meals and getting enough sleep. I also set aside time to do things that I enjoyed, which helped to restore some of my happiness.
I also sought out help from my friends and family. They were so supportive and understanding, and they provided me with a safe space to talk about my struggles. I also attended therapy sessions, which helped me to work through my emotions. I started meditating and doing yoga which shaped my journey to spirituality.
Finally, I was able to find peace and acceptance. I found strength in my newfound independence, and I was able to move on with my life. I know that I am a much stronger person now, and I am grateful for the hard work and dedication I put in to get to this place.
Although my divorce was a difficult experience, it taught me a lot about myself. I share my story with others to encourage them to never give up on their healing journey. No matter how hard it may seem, I want to remind them that with hard work, dedication, and self-care, they too can get through it.

How did you build your audience on social media?
When I first started my online presence, I had already built a small audience from my previous marketing and online course “Shift Your Mindset”. I knew I wanted to reach more people and build a bigger audience, so I set out to create a plan.
The first step was to become more visible. I reached out to different media outlets and conducted interviews and podcasts. I also started to create digital content, such as motivational improvs, which allowed me to share my messaging and stay true to myself by adding humor to my videos.
