We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tameir Moore. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tameir below.
Tameir, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s one of the most important lessons you learned in school?
I think the biggest lesson that I took from college was teaching me how to be adaptable in life, but most importantly, how life will throw situations at you that you think you’re not ready for or you think you can’t handle and it showed me in my experiences at ASU That I can handle anything life throws my way. I feel like a lot of people in life think colleges a waste of time, but I feel like that comes down to their mindset. I feel like the more self-aware and self reflective you are in your journey that we call life you’re able to decipher when God or the universe is putting things in your life on purpose to make you uncomfortable, so that you can grow and be Better for yourself. On my own personal college journey, I feel like I went through so many trials and tribulations that normally I would’ve just gave up and quit or said this was too hard or this is not meant for me, but in the face of adversity I never gave up. In a weird way, I took from College that you have to be comfortable being uncomfortable. there will be unexpected things that come up that we have to deal with. There will be times in life where we feel like things aren’t fair, but we have to adapt to it. I am thankful for those lessons i learned in college because it brought me to where I am now in my journey. I’m more at peace with myself and open to the world because of it

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I got into business after I graduated from ASU with my bachelors and business administration. I started with independent business consultations to friends and family members who I knew who had businesses or a skillset that they can turn into a business. From there I was able to apply all these theories That I learned in school and directly apply them to real life. My first ever client that wasn’t my friend or family member came a year after I graduated college. I helped them create a clothing brand. From the idea conception to the execution. I created their website , managed it, created the clothing designs, essentially did it all. I’m forever grateful for my first client because I learned and was able to hands on figure out every role that’s needed to run a successful business. After that experience, I felt like I was ready to help any and everybody. I scaled my clientele up and began social media marketing, contract negotiations, event planning, to eventually putting together my own big events around the valley. I realized my purpose in this world was to help people. So I naturally gravitate towards things that fulfill that purpose. I opened a photography and video production studio in downtown Phoenix. I don’t take photos but I wanted to have a space for creatives in the community to come together. I also wanted to utilize my business consulting experience and help photographers, videographers, and other creatives scale their brand. I started doing small intimate events within my space. I got really good at curating vibes and events. I started collaborating and helping more businesses with their events . That soon turned into a business itself. That’s when I created Moore Managed Events. A event business that can help with event coordination, planning, equipment and people sourcing, budgeting, or just idea conception to execution day of, we can handle that for clients. We have put together art exhibitions, car shows, vendor pop up shops, game nights, fashion shows, and so much more.

How did you build your audience on social media?
My advice for people starting out their business. Social media is to figure out who their audience is first from there you’ll know who you’re targeting. Then you can tailor your content for them or if you know what your content is, you know who you need to get that content in front of. I’m also really huge on organic engagement so that starts with you just interacting with people who follow you or you follow that relate to the space that you were in. A huge tip that I would recommend is just consistency specially, early on the more consistent you are the more organic the traffic picks up in the social media algorithm. I know me specifically I’m big on pushing positivity, so whether that’s positive positive motivational quotes or something that you watch it just makes you happy after you watch that video so I know for my brand especially my nonprofit when people go on our page I don’t just want them to see that we’re bringing more love in the world, but I want them to feel it as they go through our reels and our post.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I think what helped build my reputation within the market was my consistency and my ability to always provide an extensive amount of value to anyone I encounter. I genuinely want people to leave better than when they came. Whether that’s mentally, or physically. I think people resonate with my genuine desire to bring people together and bring more love in the world. I also believe transparency has hugely helped me. I’ve always been transparent in my journey. Showing the process so the people see what it took to get where I am now
