We recently connected with Tamara Greer and have shared our conversation below.
Tamara , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
I started I AM THE BFP while walking through my own infertility journey. After feeling isolated, I knew other women needed a safe space to find hope, support, and sisterhood. “BFP” stands for Big Fat Positive—but for me, it also means Big Faith & Purpose. This mission is personal. Through events, grants, and community, we uplift women navigating infertility and remind them they are not alone—they are BFP strong.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am a woman currently navigating my own infertility journey. After experiencing the emotional weight of trying to conceive, I felt called to turn my pain into purpose. I wanted to create something that could help other women feel seen, supported, and empowered. That’s when I AM THE BFP was born.
I AM THE BFP is an infertility support organization based in Dallas, Texas. We provide emotional, educational, and financial support to women and couples trying to conceive. Our mission is to build sisterhood through storytelling, advocacy, and real-life support—because no one should face infertility alone. We’ve been featured on Fox 4 News, Good Morning Texas, and Voyage Dallas, and we host empowering events like our annual Walking for My Rainbow walk and From Hope to Happiness Mother’s Day brunch. Through initiatives like the Kayla-Mae Infertility Grant, we help lighten the financial burden of fertility treatments for our members.
At I AM THE BFP, we believe every woman deserves hope, healing, and a community that gets it.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele has been building authentic community and visibility through storytelling. By openly sharing my own infertility journey and creating safe spaces for others to do the same, I’ve built trust, connection, and a deep sense of belonging within the BFP community.Pairing that with social media consistency, meaningful collaborations with fertility clinics, and offering real value—like emotional support and our Kayla-Mae Infertility Grant—has helped turn followers into loyal members and advocates.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
One of the hardest moments in my journey was when I experienced a miscarriage after what felt like a miracle. I remember the joy of that positive test—finally seeing the two lines I had prayed for. But weeks later, I found myself sitting in a doctor’s office hearing the words, “The pregnancy isn’t viable” I was devastated. It felt like the floor dropped beneath me.
But I chose to keep going.
I shared my story, even when my voice trembled. I created I AM THE BFP not because I had all the answers, but because I knew what it felt like to be in the dark, longing for light. That loss could’ve broken me—but instead, it became the reason I fight harder to build a space where women can grieve, hope, and heal together.
Every event I host, every woman I support, and every story I hear reminds me that resilience isn’t about never falling—it’s about always rising, and choosing to believe in the beauty of our rainbow, even in the middle of the storm.
