We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tam Leblanc. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tam below.
Hi Tam, thanks for joining us today. undefined
The most innovative thing I’ve done over the course of my professional life is leaving corporate America to pursue entrepreneurship. For the better part of my career, I’ve worked in finance and accounting departments in various industries. Having spent the most time in commercial property management.
Having been responsible for office management, HR functions, accounting and procurement, working for myself MADE SENSE. If I can run businesses and offices for other people, why can’t I do it for myself?
When I launched my paint business, 3P Artistry, I had no idea I’d end up teaching in retirement homes and children’s parties, that was never my intention. I was trying to piggyback on California’s new 420 laws, but faced numerous obstacles in finding venues that would allow me to host classes where smoking was allowed. 3P Artistry (3P = Paint, puff & pass).
So I pivot.
I just wanted to create, so I took on other gigs that would allow me to do that. I started as the instructor for Scribbles N’ the Skye (mobile paint and sip for children). I taught acrylic paint classes at Michael’s. I worked for Young Rembrandts and taught after school art classes at elementary schools all over Orange County. I even picked up a couple of retirement homes for regular classes (that I’m still currently teaching).
When Covid hit, I had to pivot yet again. But this time, the world was shut down. I could no longer teach publicly due to restrictions, so I leaned into a different skillset. I launched another business in 2020. That’s when I became Enlightened Auntie. I’ve been a full time reader since then, although I’ve been reading tarot since 2003.
Once Covid began to clear and the world began to open up, I eventually ended up instructing at Brushstrokes & Beverages in Long Beach for about a year. I managed to juggle both businesses AND a part time job at the studio, while still taking care of my family.
Sometimes the innovation is simply the ability to pivot when things grow stagnant or stop working. When conditions change, it’s easier to transition WITH THE CHANGE instead of resisting it.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m a self-taught artist but didn’t pick up a paint brush until 2017. I’ve been drawing and creating my entire life. 3P Artistry allows me to share my love of creation with other people. I offer monthly classes at retirement homes. I’m available for private parties, team building, fundraising events and private lessons. I’ve taught ages 4 to 94.
I love my retirement home classes, but eventually I’d love to open my own studio space and make it community based, offering family classes. I remember how difficult it was to find activities for my entire family when my kids were young.
I’m largely known as Enlightened Auntie, and referred to as simply “Auntie” by my followers (whom I think of as friends), across all social media platforms. Between the video readings on my YouTube channel and my interactions online, I’m known for giving no-nonsense perspective with intuitive guidance. I’ve predicted babies, weddings and major life changes for clients all over the world.
I specialize in breaking down generational curses, identifying karmic patterns and guiding people in order to lead more productive lives.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I’ve had online presence since 1997 (back in the AOL days). I blogged heavily from 2005-2010. I did MySpace and of course Facebook, but then came Twitter. I launched the account in 2007 but it didn’t come alive until January 2020 with my first viral tweet.
“For my 20 something year old followers, stop stressing about your love life. Forgive your parents. Wait to have children. Finish your education. Love yourself the way you’ve been loving those deadbeat ass connections. Learn to live in gratitude and watch your life change.”
The subsequent tweets detailed how I finally forgave my father after carrying around 40 years of anger and pain. Evidently telling folks to forgive their parents was triggering to a lot of people. But it opened up some healthy dialogue that I felt some of these people never had. Since then I’ve found myself guiding people much like the way I guide my own children. Today I’ve got 23.4k followers on X, 9400 on TikTok, 4800 subscribers on YouTube and 5700 on Instagram.
The thing I’ve learned about social media is that each platform has its own algorithm. I have never purchased followers because I don’t believe in it (for MY business model). I only want people who genuinely resonate with my energy and work following me. I also want my following to be organic…because they CHOOSE to follow me.
If you’re a content creator, learn your audience. Diversify. If you create something, how can you spread it around to all of your platforms? Engagement. People trust me. I interact with EVERYONE, even if I’m simply “liking” a comment they’ve left. I acknowledge every single one, on every single platform. I’m always down for a conversation and people come to me ALL the time seeking advice. Consistency. Post often. People are fickle and will move on quickly if they feel like you’ve forgotten them.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Right now it’s a toss up between YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.
I launched my channel in 2018 and it’s had very lackluster traction over the past few years. Astrologically speaking, I spent a few years proving to myself that I was ready to pursue a spiritual practice as a content creator. For over 2.5 years my initial client base was gained from Twitter.
I continued to record content for my channel despite low viewership. At one point I did become discouraged, but I kept feeling this push to record and to keep going, so I did.
Last summer I finally joined the TikTok craze and it really paid off! I post and go. I take 5-7 minute clips from my videos and post them to TikTok, linking the video to my channel so people can view the rest. My subscriber numbers began to climb and the number of new clients was mind boggling.
I then started posting shorter clips on Instagram as Reels and that’s when things started to move. I recently had another tarot reader shout out my channel, which resulted in more subscribers and another wave of new clients. I’m grateful for it all. Consistency has paid off!
