We were lucky to catch up with Talitha Jabber recently and have shared our conversation below.

Talitha, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think it takes to be successful?

I believe to be successful; you must take accountability. Check your state of mind and focus on the growth you have achieved. You must acknowledge to Yourself that You’ve WON.

To maintain success of course, It takes reliable, true intentional, raw, hungry, dedicated passionate work ethic! Of course, you can be your worst critic. We are not, perfect. Everyday choose to be the Best Version for yourself .

Talitha, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I welcome you and thank you as I Introduce myself. I go by Joy or Faith but many who know me call me Talitha. I own and operate Faiths Delights which I created in 2016 and MassageByJoy, which was created in 2018. Collectively , I hold a voluminous amount of customers and clients.

As a baker I learned by watching my mom. I endure the amazing feeling and taste it gave her and us on special occasions. I wanted to add that exact intention into my desserts. I started by ensuring I transitioned to healthier ingredients such as Almond flour , Plant base Egg and Avocado oil due most of my customers are or were prediabetic.

With both Faiths Delights and MassageByJoy I stepped into the industry by attending Vendor Events, Women’s Retreats and Business Meetings. Recently I was invited to be on a panel discussion with other Entrepreneurs and Business owners to share how we succeed in our businesses and Personal lives. Some of us teamed up and serve the public. Massage Therapy is a service many of us need often. Being a service provider mental Health is Top Tier to maintain.

I am most proud of my consistent discipline on being a business owner, for 3 years strong. Without God, family and faith I would not have made it through.

Alright – let’s talk about marketing or sales – do you have any fun stories about a risk you’ve taken or something else exciting on the sales and marketing side?

Yes- In 2018 I discovered what marketing was and the way to engage in  sales with new audience. I put together a “Kick Back” for upcoming entrepreneurs and business owners in and out of Columbia sc. I reached out to different cities locally for talent , artists, etc. I had a DJ, Cater, photographer ,etc. I brought displays of my desserts. The music artists and business owners brought their music , products and items to sale. This was my first time putting together an event which included marketing. It showed my strengths and the future desires I wanted for myself and others who attended. This brought so much awareness to the number of sales you needed to get the network you want.

Recently, MassageByJoy received an opportunity to assist a client in Charleston ,SC from a Body worker /Massage Therapist’s in Charlotte , NC. She received my information by the social groups I am included with on platforms. This shows how your content markets for you.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

The best strategy I have with my business is Family. I service my client’s family , family. I am supported by the entire family which allows me to be considered first. I inspire to be the “Go-To” for my clients and their family’s needs.
