Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Taimi Lawlor. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Taimi, thanks for joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
After learning how to manage and heal my own anxiety, I used my personal experience to drive me to collect certifications so I could help others who struggle with anxiety. I shorten their learning curve by showing them what is driving their anxiety-imbalanced hormones, heavy metals, leaky gut, and bad beliefs. I help my clients build a tool box to improve their mind and their body so they can drop the label and medication for anxiety.

Taimi, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
In my early 20’s I was living as a complete perfectionist. Plagued by panic attacks, sleepless nights, severe constipation, and excessive exercise. I was a high functioning anxious person who did not believe in rest, recovery, or relaxation while trying to prove that I was “good enough.” Instead of spinning in my never ending symptoms, I put all my energy into getting to the root cause to improve my mental and physical health. You no longer have to struggle with panic attacks, sleepless nights, the inability to poop, and just accepting sub-optimal health.
I am an Integrative Anxiety Specialist, Certified Health Coach, and RYT500
Yoga instructor who believes in an integrative approach to healing the mind and body. My previous background as a Speech & Language Pathologist serves me well today, as I work with clients who want to reduce their anxiety.
As a multi certified practitioner I am able to individualize client sessions to meet their specific needs, utilizing modalities such as yoga, hormone testing, functional testing, and emotional freedom technique.
My Align Program Entails:
-12 sessions-total program lasts 3-4 months and meet every week or every other week.
-Includes 1-2 tests
-Full Written Report & analyzation of their test
-Access to Fullscripts and recommendations of exact supplements and nutrients
-Text or email support during working hours
-Free Yoga during the time working together
So that my clients feel calmer in their mind, have more control over their health, and a leaner body

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Deciding to not “buy into” the label and belief that I had Generalized Anxiety Disorder and needed to take anxiety medication for life, just like a diabetic needs to take insulin for life. Once I heard that, I made a conscious decision to do everything I could to not “need” a medication. This is when I stepped onto my yoga mat, while incorporating other mind-body practices to heal my nervous system.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
The fact that I have lived with debilitating anxiety and now live completely medication free as I show others who struggled just like me how to heal.
